Ooh, recently I've been eating out more
and I've tried squid and lobster - not that exotic but they are for me, as I'm not much for seafood. Quite pleasant, but not sure why people get so excited about lobster. Could just have been badly prepared, I guess.

it's not all it's cracked up to be
the sweet bit at the end of the claw is fucking lovely though.

I'd rather eat some nice scallops or prawns probably.

scallops just cooked with butter are fucking heavenly

I prefer crab. Lovely and sweet.

Crab is excellent.

I've mentioned the crab claw in roasted chilli sauce dish I had at a Thai place haven't I?
one of the best things I've ever eaten

What about houmous?

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 10:49, Reply)
In a can with scrambled eggs?

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 10:49, Reply)
I shall probably give houmous a go at some point
Scrambled eggs are for spastics who can't make an omelette.

/cannot make an omelette
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 10:52, Reply)
decent scrambled eggs are much better than an omelette you spastic

Hmmm, not sure I agree here.
Both are great. I think your anti-cheese bias is affecting your judgement.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 10:57, Reply)
I'm coming round to cheese
I eat it molten all the time and love it. I've started eating brie as well
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 10:58, Reply)
You'd like Pie D'Angloys.
It's brie-esque but with a slightly different flavour.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 11:01, Reply)
it also has the word Pie in it
can't go wrong with that

Happy Candle day!
Seafood is lovely, the swordfish I had was one of the best meals I've ever had.

I'd recommend sushi, but my two favourite things to get from the sushi place I went to were egg and beef, not fish.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 10:50, Reply)
Cheers
Sushi is good but I prefer red meat, preferably roasted.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 10:53, Reply)
Same
Beef tataki is one of the things I love on Sushi, fucking wonderful.

Warning, massive picture.

Is your pig all better? Or will you be updating us with a new exotic meat you've recently tried?
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 11:01, Reply)
