Got a busy week ahead of you next week?

(, Sun 25 Sep 2011, 21:18, Reply)
Absolutely nuttin'
Superficially, that's not a problem because I've been busy the last couple of weeks due to stoodents.

As a long term indicator it's not so good, but it's a superb weather forecast so next week might just see me skipping through the woods with the dogs singing at the top of my voice.
(, Sun 25 Sep 2011, 21:28, Reply)
The hills are alive!
With the sound of TD.
(, Sun 25 Sep 2011, 21:31, Reply)
You really can't beat
Stomping through the woods on a sunny September morning with a pair of hounds, nobody else about, singing.

27 years of smoking have done me no favours but I have a very good singing voice, still. Rather in the Terry Hall "does all this routine stuff but how does he hit those notes?" style.

Give me a request and I'll sing it in the woods tomorrow.

Quick - I'm off to bed soon.

One of the questions tonight
was 'What does a knob thatcher do?'

Apparently they make wigs. Which makes sort of sense, when you think about it.

Braid each others hair
or sing into hairbrushes while dancing around to Tiffany records.
(, Sun 25 Sep 2011, 22:54, Reply)
They'll be tryin' to get away, into the night.
Then they'll put their arms around each other and they'll tumble to the ground and then they'll say...

'I think we're along now'

Good ideas thank you
*braids hair and sings*

Now we're going to do that kissing practice.

Last week we came second (out of two teams). Today we came third (out of three teams).
I blame mr b3th.

(, Sun 25 Sep 2011, 23:19, Reply)
Well...
it costs 50p per head to join in, and all the money gets divvied up into prizes at the end. But nobody ever takes the money, and it gets put into the charity pot. It's mostly for bragging rights.

It would be more lucrative to use the quiz machine.

(, Sun 25 Sep 2011, 23:22, Reply)
When I ran the quiz, we'd have six or seven teams regularly
They sort of tailed off when me and mr b3th started winning every week.

don't really want to, because that admits it's the end of the weekend and the most exciting thing I've done is go into town and fail to arrange to see my friends.

'Just how many hours of entertaining is it possible to find in WsM'

I should think there's a good few hours of fun on the pier
plus mini golf, plus food, plus drinking. I should think we can string out five or six hours of entertainment.
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 0:12, Reply)
Okay.
I'll give some thought to train times and stuff and communicate accordingly.

If Blousie and CQ have a 8.30 from BTM to Paddington, then they'll probably not want to be away from WsM any later than 6.30pm, just to be on the safe side.
