Hallowed be his name.
The man has yet to speak anything but good sense and truth in my book, thus he will never have and power at all.

Saw him talk at Glastonbury last year, great guy.

I'd have him as Prime minister
With Billy Bragg as deputy.

Billy Bragg talked about voting LD at a gig I went to last year - a tactical vote in his constituency to try and keep the tory out.

Yes, I made the same mistake.
I don't think I'm even going to compromised as much as voting Labout next time round, lesson learned.

That aside, it was a bloody good gig. Seen him live twice - excellent both times.

(, Wed 19 Oct 2011, 13:20, Reply)
I've not seen him play
but I saw an interesting discussion with Him, Mark Thomas and some one else I can't remember who was totally out classed, about Nationalism at Lattitute last Year. At the end he lead the crown in singing Jerusalem, it was ace.

I am a big fan of Mark Thomas. Have met him a couple of times as a mate of mine went to school with him

he seems good, but I could do with out the silly stunts he used to do on his TV show
see also Michael Moor.

The queen was there?

Yes lightly, she was.

Oh yeah...
Come to think of it, I did post a link on fb during the election, showing people how they could vote tactically to "keep Dave out"

At the last election was very difficult for me to work out who to vote for.
Was living in Battersea - highly marginal seat - labour by about 150 votes. The MP was a fucking good constituency MP - did a lot about public transport, homelessness etc - was interested in his constituents not ministerial office.

I wanted to vote for him, but I couldn't as it would have meant I was also voting to keep Gordon Brown in office.
(, Wed 19 Oct 2011, 13:22, Reply)
This probably won't make me very popular...
But I am one of the few who would have kept Brown in office. Especially given the alternatives.
That aside, if your MP was "a fucking good constituency MP", that is a good reason for voting for him. Are you happy with who you have now?
(, Wed 19 Oct 2011, 13:30, Reply)
I have moved since. Glenda Jackson is my MP and on the couple of occasions I have filled in templates to support an issue I have had a prompt response and follow up's as well.

But did she get her norks out?
