I've only just been drinking and looking at facebook and people I went to high school with.
I've decided I need to lose 8,000 lbs.
And become an astronaut in order to look cool. Or maybe drive a ferrari and have Angelina Jolie in the passenger seat.
Have you made any special decisions lately?
alt: it's the mother fucking morning and it's mother fucking snowing...in mother fucking OCTOBER!
What's your fave snowy morn breakfast?

I'm boxing up books this morning as my brother's girlfriend knows someone who'll take any fantasy novels I don't want. I don't think she realises it's going to be 8 or 9 big boxes.
When I was young we spent one Christmas in a holiday home halfway up an Austrian mountain thanks to my Dad's contacts. Every morning the food was restocked and breakfast would be cheese and salami on soft white rolls, so that's what I hanker for when it snows.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 9:02, Reply)
with strong black coffee. German bread rolls are also really, really nice.
However it's got to be porridge when it snows, so you're all warm on the inside when you're cold on the outside.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 9:53, Reply)
blueberry for preference, so that your porridge is purple.

Nah. Pub maybe, or Rileys. If I drive, buy him a pint and let him win at snooker he might cheer the fuck up a bit.

I'm not even sure my tennis skills have either. Freebies, indeed.

I bet you're one of those freaks that gets salty popcorn at the cinema as well. The stuff that's been there since the 90s because nobody buys it...
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:22, Reply)
Of course I get salt popcorn, I'm a man for fucks sake.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:26, Reply)
you cut me deep.
I don't know a single man that buys the salty popcorn. It's foul stuff.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:31, Reply)
Possibly even a southern posh poofter.
I bet your daddy owns Kent and you have a stable full of horses.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:36, Reply)
nasty - like accidentally getting a mouthful of seawater and ceiling tile
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:46, Reply)
Sweet popcorn is bearable because of the sugar. Salty popcorn is bland, chewy, salty death.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:49, Reply)
Besides, we're both wrong. The superior form of popcorn is butter but few cinemas seem to do it these days.

I dreamt about it last night. In the dream I went to visit is and it was filled with happy, warm people having a civilised party and they invited me in an were lovely. In reality the house is currently empty and I will live in it alone. Dream was nice, though.
Is it pretty snow?

(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:06, Reply)
I'm in a flat now. Pretty much cleared the house apart from boxes and boxes of books, now looking to get rid.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:24, Reply)
is it really taking that long?
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 10:37, Reply)
plus flat = nice, house = manky. So it's hard to get motivated to get off the couch and finish the job. I have emailed an estate agent for a valuation.

Don't forget to claim your 100% council tax discount based on it being unfurnished.

my favourite snowy morn breakfast is a cup of tea, or hot chocolate. A very clear memory remains of my Italian au pair making hot chocolate for me as a child on a snowy day, and shaking cornflakes into it and dipping a muffin in. For years I was convinced this was what Italians ate for breakfast.
My only special decision lately has been the weightloss one

Should I bother to buy a football (Soccer to the OP) game this year?
ALT-Scrambled eggs on toast, with HP sauce, and a cup of tea.

But back in my home town there's plenty of snow going on already, which was the norm for me growing up. So I'm not terribly bothered.
Except that I need to go to the store for food.

Seeing as I got in about six shots giving the world's nonciest grin and wave when they were filming last night, before being bundled away by the doormen.

There's a Lee Foss mix on the cover of DJ magazine this month.
I'll listen to it in a bit while I'm sorting through my vinyl.

Hope the situation stays fine.
(, Sat 29 Oct 2011, 12:31, Reply)
it wasn't actually snowing when I posted last night, just starting to thicken up, but now it's fucking coming down and it's the bad sort that gets all packed super easily, this is going to suck!
My fucking car window won't roll up so I have a plastic sheet over it currently and I work from 2-9:30 tonight. UGH.
