Monty I'm going to be cutting down trees with my father this weekend.
Is that okay?

Oh, he'll be gutted.

You are George Washington etc etc
I used to DJ with a fellow who was also a tree surgeon. He ended up with a chainsaw blade between his thumb and forefinger and almost completely cut off his thumb. They just about saved it but he had the fliddiest hand on earth afterwards.

So you be careful, you dig?

I had a French teacher nicknamed Stumpy.
Allegedly he managed to chop his fingers off in a food blender. This has never been confirmed, though.

one will be a cherry tree.
