I really don't think I could murder anyone, I'm much too nice.
Also, once you've killed someone once, you might as well do it again, many times. That's the same approach I took with sex.

Having said that, if Michael Gove was to meet a sticky end by someone else's hand, I probably wouldn't grieve. That's a sticky end as in dead, not a sticky end as in handjob.

I have noticed lot of Gove bashing specifically these last few days. Not sure why.

I donno if this is a rumour, but I remember thinking as a kid that she can walk into any shop and get anything and they're not allowed to charge her.
I think this was 'cus in my head, 'cus she was the queen, she owned everything... but it might be real.
(, Mon 16 Jan 2012, 20:40, Reply)
she don't carry money
i guess it'd be a bit vain to be walking around with loads of photos of yourself in your wallet
(, Mon 16 Jan 2012, 20:41, Reply)
That rings a bell, there was this old lady in North Cyprus, an ex-pat brit, who we knicknamed The Queen, 'cus she never carried money about.
It's 'cus she paid for everything at the end of the month, and it was generally accepted by anyone who wanted to cator for the expat comunitie.
(, Mon 16 Jan 2012, 20:43, Reply)
But when she paid, she rounded it up to the nearest 100l, which I think was about £30, but I can't remember for hte life of me at the moment.

Republic and North Cyprus, the greeks'n'turks are like the bluds'n'kriptz.
But in reality, it's the mainlanders (greece and turkey) who are beefin', locals don't give a toss.

I can understand the irritation with the queen one.
Dunno about his ideas on education. If anything he isn't going far enough. He's just taken Blairite ideas on reform to a new level. If he was a hardcore Tory he'd be bringing back specialization , skills teaching, and give council areas a referendum on Grammar+Technical Schools and SecMod's .
