it's no bother, not geting much pain now, except for waking up in the night with an achey shoulder and ibuprophen seems to sort that. Thge position I go to sleep in seems important though.

and is hobbling around on triple strength codeine. He doesn't seem to be as 'fuzzy' as I would have expected. He's doing a lot of fucking moaning though.

It helps I think, but really not sure it's as strong as I expected. I thought it was doing things, but the the pain started going awy by it's self. I'f I hadn't seen the X-Ray I'd not think the damage was as bad as it is.

They said four times a day, and he only got them this morning, so maybe he'll actually sleep tonight, and it'll start to feel better tomorrow.

Swings and roundabouts I s'pose being immune to Codine seems less good, but healing quicker than expected is a bonus.

surely that would have been on the x-ray, also the bone would not have broken in the first place.

the only other excitement was getting £10 off an old lady for picking her off the floor and driving her home.
Good pay after pushing her over*...
*I didn't really btw, I'm not that much of a bitch

I think it's from reading too much of this Japanese fantasy stuff where every action is fated and meaningful, but the weird coincidences that led to it (non of which are particularly interesting btw) made it feel like I was a character in a badly plotted story with awkward reasons for interacting with another character. Thus, for me, the tenner is like Chekov's gun and will be important in a later act.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 23:41, Reply)
that was a minor incident which will turn out to be important as the plot progresses.
unless I am the minor character in someone else's story. Then nothing more will be heard from me except in a flashback

and you will have an absolute, desperate, life-or-death need for a ten pound note. It will be a week before pay day and you'll be just about to cry, then you'll remember that kindly old lady and rush to the car to find the money.
Then later you'll go to her address to thank her, and the neighbours will say there hasn't been anyone living there since the old lady died before xmas. There will be an ethereal light in the sky as you walk away from the front door, and you'll feel a warm hand upon your shoulder.

Although now I'm worrying I'm just a bit part in someone else's film/book and have no further role to play
