Evening all
I'm leaving the country rather than face stupid jubilee celebrations.

Alt: I've got until the end of August to achieve whatever must be done before the age of 36.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 21:48, 3 replies, latest was 14 years ago)
Why are you all so fucking young here?
I feel so ancient...
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 21:51, Reply)
Aren't you only a couple of years older than me?
But thanks for calling me young.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 21:53, Reply)
Along with Monty and Stunned
I will be forty next year.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 21:53, Reply)

So three years older then.
It's an ageing population alright.

When I turned 29, I had a 'desperately hanging on to my twenties' party.
I wonder if I should have a 'clinging to the wreckage of my thirties' party this year when I turn 39.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 22:00, Reply)
I'm pretty ancient.
Every day I wake up is an achievement.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 22:14, Reply)
That's the spirit

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 22:18, Reply)
eh? speak up!
tch, youngsters today.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 22:19, Reply)
Ta, Sometimes I wonder if I can be bothered anymore.
But then I realise there are bad people to upset, and so I make the effort. I'm a sort of moral superhero.

If the reaction to the royal wedding was anything to go by, it'll go with a thud round here.

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 22:15, Reply)
I celebrated the royal wedding by dragging roota out shopping with my mum.
mr b3th phoned me every ten minutes to tell me about the dress, and pippa middleton's arse.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 22:20, Reply)
As a small boy, on holiday in France during the wedding of Charles and Di
I was encouraged to shout "Stuff the royal wedding" at partying Brits.
Good times.
