Let me break down the TRU SCIENCE for you.
She's thinking 'that ageing Metal Mickey emospazz in the turquoise guyliner seems really unthreatening. I've never had a gay BFF before, I bet it's loads of fun swapping nail varnish tips and stuff. I wonder if he wants to go to a sadcore gig with me? I bet he writes poetry'
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:33, Reply)
first time a woman hasn't literally vomited in his face and he thinks it's flirting.

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:34, Reply)
Or she's a lizard and thinks he's David Icke

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:36, Reply)
The way she sighed with boredom and said 'that'll be £3.99 please' TOTES means he's WELL IN.

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:44, Reply)
that lip curl and slight shake of the head.
fuck, she's probably ruined her pants.
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:45, Reply)
It'd be like opening a can of shook up Coke in there

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:46, Reply)
I mean, a waitress smiling and being polite? at work?
nah, she must be a total slut who wants it.
dozer: prick, lolcool, deejay, rapist.
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:48, Reply)
She wants a tip

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:50, Reply)
Perhaps she just wants a tip.
Perhaps she fancies him.

More importantly, who the fuck cares?
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:51, Reply)
The metalwork is out.
Suited and booted.

That's a good thing, isn't it?
Also, going back to the original question, are you one of those cool people, who try out the music in the shop? On the shop's decks?
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:36, Reply)
unless I know the music already, yes.

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:38, Reply)

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:39, Reply)
I know this.
But I have to 'look cool' in front of 'chicks'.
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:40, Reply)
yeah, I think you'll need more than west end girls on vinyl

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:42, Reply)
I have, ironically enough, Like a Virgin as well.

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:45, Reply)
Sometimes, he's better off dead

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:45, Reply)
Fair play,
Can you do all the 'scratchy stuff' too? Or are you after collector's items?
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:42, Reply)
I don't scratch.
When I DJ I play techy breakbeat or hip hop. I also collect.
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:44, Reply)
My scratching is ropey as fuck these days.
I would have been OK before about '86. By the late 80s people were way better than I'll ever be. DJ Mo who was Silver Bullet's DJ, and the Hijack DJs were fucking brilliant.
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:48, Reply)
^This right here, new shittest most bent post on OT.
fucking hell. WORSE. THAN. NAKERS.

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:54, Reply)
Discs or drums?

(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:56, Reply)
Nice one too,
Is it getting harder to get the vinyl, or is it okay? - I'm asking since I no longer buy music to hold in the physical sense - I'm interested in how downloads have affected vinyl.
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:51, Reply)
Vinyl sales - and production - are growing each year.
The availability and thus prices of older stuff gets tougher.
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:55, Reply)
Interesting
*not taking the piss*
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 15:07, Reply)
depends
CDJs are standard in clubs now, even for DnB and Technics are disappearing.

Some DJs still play vinyl- Craig Richards, Weatherall and Sven Vath all do, but except for purists it's gone. House and techno etc is all about playing the latest releases and if labels have gone digital only then what can you do?
(, Fri 28 Sep 2012, 14:57, Reply)
Fair enough,
That's all I have to say.
