AltAlt: On a related topic, when did anyone last watch ANYTHING AT ALL on ITV?
It is complete and utter shit. The only thing I can remember watching in the last 12 months would have been the occasional Champions League match if it wasn't on Sky.

That, and FA cup games
except a) I have to use some weird ITV audio description channel because STV is both ITV and Scottish, so doubly arse and b) you have to listen to Andy Fucking Townsend "punditing" which is enough to make me shoot my own ears off.

If he's in hospital and they are aware the risks are very low.
They can break the clot up in a controlled environment while monitoring him all the time. It's not perfectly ideal, obviously, but I really shouldn't worry.

also, there's still a good chance it isn't DVT
pain management and swelling after major procedures is a fucking lottery. Even on tramadol and nerve blockers I was nearly in tears for about 24 hours after they plated my arm up.
