So I went to sandbanks for a stagdo this weekend.
Pretty darn nice there. First time I've been. I was expecting bournmouth to be a bit of a shit hole.

So anyway I did coasteering and it knackered the shit out of me, when did you last realise you were shit/unfit/old?
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:05, 82 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
All the time at the moment.
DIY is killing me. Now the weather is getting better I'll be out for a run so hopefully this will get me fit again

I'm surprised that high end gaming, homebrewing and rollups didn't equip you for mild physical exercise.

I don't see any problem with having nerves about jumping from a high height.
if you don't you're weird. Actually if you don't there's no point doing it.
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:21, Reply)
it's not exactly base jumping is it, you jumped off a rock into the mild peril of a guaranteed soft landing and fully qualified instructors on hand to assist should you stub your toe, what with them being required to be insured up to the eyeballs and
having to cut risk to the absolute minimum. I crossed old street roundablout yesterday, which statistically must have been a thousand times more dangerous.
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:26, Reply)
Try doing it in a wetsuit.

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:28, Reply)
Everyone round Old St is wearing irono-wetsuits these days

I went through a phase of going for a run in the morning a few years back.
That nearly killed me every time.
The downside of being thin is that you have no motivation to keep fit.

Was the brewery tour any good?
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:14, Reply)
I like a run of an evening
More time and not having to rush everything else
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:15, Reply)
We fobbed it off because we were all aching and wet.

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:15, Reply)
Hang on
You jumped off shit into freezing water as opposed to drinking beer?

W T F?
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:16, Reply)
We drank beer at the house and took it in turn to have bubble baths.
Like a bunch of gays.
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:16, Reply)
Exactly like a bunch of gays

We then did spend £200 on an indian takeaway.
It was epic.

I'm reminded of being old and unfit on an almost daily basis at the moment.
Ten years of booze and sausage sandwiches.
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 10:19, Reply)
So you started this regime when you were 2?
