Hiya gang! It's me! You know, Monty! From the Internet?
You know, like you get on those 'WAP phones'?

Life sentences: do you think life sentences should mean prison for your whole life? If not, they have a pretty silly name I'd say.

Alt: who is the biggest wee-wee tapir on b3ta?

I think it is useful for judges to have some guidelines on how long sentences should be.
Kind of makes things fair.

Imma tell you about my lunch
Had those M&S BBQ beef ribs with wedges and slaw. 14 months I've been working with an M&S right next door, how have I never had this before?
It was fantastic!

It's a (chiefly N American) term
Originating from the late 18th century: from Dutch sla, shortened from salade 'salad'

it tasted a bit weird so I hesitate to call it coleslaw.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 13:33, Reply)
Thats those Italian phones yeah?
I think that the standard tariff of 25 years is acceptable as a life sentence. If the whole point of prison is not only punishment but also rehabilitation then by having life as life then there is no point in trying to create better citizens from prisoners.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 13:20, Reply)
which is why we should execute them

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 13:21, Reply)
costs a hell of a lot more to execute
than imprison, Death row has an average stay of something like 12 years during which there are legal teams almost constantly appealing. Do you want to give lawyers more work and money well DO YOU
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 13:23, Reply)
no death row, no appeals, out the back of the court, gas chamber. bish bash bosh.

Depends on the crime
Since sometime judges give out fucking ridiculous rulings.

Justice should be more brutal though. Prison should mean prison. Not a place with benefits. People should fear going to prison.
