Well today I has been mostly working.
Like the good little employee I am.
I'm sitting here with my bottle of wine and waiting for my stomach to get smaller by willpower alone.

That said I spent 6 months going to the gym for an hour and a half four days a week and watching what I ate and didn't loose an ounce!

A girl offering an arm wrestle would do it for me I think.
Then they would win, I would look less than macho, and they would mock me.
Probably not a good idea then.

Bar the "no sites that aren't eurostar.com" internet policy,
I already love my job. It's just a shame the people I'm working with will practically all be made redundant next month when I move back down to Ashford to the new customer service department. I'm based at Waterloo at the moment and can get to b3ta from my phone but apparently anything other than checking my emails if it's important on my lunchbreak is taking the piss...
In other, more encouraging news, Mr Maladicta informs me he has received a tenancy agreement in the post for the flat, which means that by extension I should have too!

thanks. He had his anaesthetic this morning when I got in and was under for about 25 mins, then took a long time waking up. He did last time as well, so we thought he might just be sleepy all day today, so were checking on him every half hour or so. He went into cardiac arrest while he was waking up and we'd already agreed that we weren't going to use heroic measures, so I got him out of that without using medication, got his heart beating again and then he died in his sleep at 5pm.
Edit: I know he's just a hedgehog, but we'd all grown attached to him and looked after him for two and a bit weeks after it initially looked like he was going to cark it on the first day. So it was a somber afternoon.

They are cute
I found a baby one outside my mum's house once, and we kept an eye on it and gave it milk and some bread. It was there for about a week, and I called it Benson Hedgehog. Then it was never seen again. I can only guess a bird got it, and I was quite sad.

We found one quivering in the middle of the road once
Luckily found it before it was run over. It only had one eye, and we put it in the yard and found worms to feed it in the garden, but it disappeared after about a week.

If you see another one
don't give it milk as they're lactose intolerent, same as all mammals. Catfood and water is the best thing for them.

I have chocolate swiss rolls
and onion rings, so am pigging out on those tonight. It's odd, I haven't felt the need for crisps that much until today since I started working there.
might have bought 10 cigarettes as well and might be enjoying them for one night only
Edit: Other than that I'm ok, was the last day of puppy school tonight, so I'm a bit sad that's finished as well as I was able to see how much progress they've made and how much they've grown. Have a ton of stuff to read through for a meeting we're having tomorrow, so need to do that soon.

I've been smoking like a bloody chimney recently.
It's not doing much for the psoriasis on my fingers at the minute:(
I have recently enjoyed a monster lasagne I cooked yesterday. I put mushrooms in it this time. Yum!
*confession*
I also have a sneaking fondness for Mr. Izzard.

so possibly a bit lower-key. I might well wear my floaty Camden skirt, actually. I'll have to head Canterburywards again about 9-10ish to be home for a decent time though :) may have to go to the estate agent in Ashford Saturday morning!

Work is good
But generally only for the money these days in my opinion.
In other news, my boss didn't shout at me, but mostly because she sprained her ankle last night and had to go up to the hospital, and then home.
Then we had useless people in working. It made me the sad.

My Day overall, not bad.
Morning: Lugging about 100kg of spare Aluminium parts from the server room into my office.
Lunch: 28 degree sunny day wondering what the hell I'm going to do with all those spare parts whilst I eat horse outside.
Afternoon: Trying to fix ssh problems for my group and discovering I've lost the root password for that particular box. >.<
Dinner: Olive bread with a selection of cooked meats, cheeses, fruit and veg. Braw!
Evening: Searching for poolhall near my new flat (closed). Buying flights to Canada. Skint.
So not too bad. :)

Can the voluntary concerts not lead to paid concerts?
That's what we found once after doing a charity gig, and getting about 4 bookings out of it.
