New Years Resolutions
Does anyone actually make them? Do you stick to them?

What are you going to change in your life to make 2014 better than 2013?
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 10:16, 97 replies, latest was 11 years ago)
resolutions are shit and for wankers.

I never make them and I always stick to them.
Might change my pants.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 10:19, Reply)
I go with the idea that they dont necessarily have to be sensible
I'm resolving for 2014 to:

Learn to juggle
Beat my 10k run time in the North Tyneside 10k run
Beat my GNR run time
Rebuild my greenhouse
Buy a shed
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 10:22, Reply)
Sheds are good.
I've never trusted greenhouses however.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 10:24, Reply)
I have a greenhouse in my garden at the moment
Brick built bottom and all that but all the wood is rotten and needs replacing
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 10:41, Reply)
People who can juggle are usually pricks
Just sayin

cook more, get some of the jobs done on my flat, keep a plant alive
My roast beef is in the slow cooker. Proper man cooking; for "peel trim and smash 3 garlic cloves" I used a 16oz claw hammer.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 10:57, Reply)
er
why do you have a 16oz claw hammer? how many hookers are under the floorboards of your flat?

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 10:59, Reply)
i have one that my aunt gave me
I've never used it, as vegetarian food is not so good in a slow cooker. come to London and you can have it for free!
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:02, Reply)
Careful porto, it's a trap

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:02, Reply)

*Akbars*

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:10, Reply)
You could do excellent soups in it

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:08, Reply)
Yep.

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:09, Reply)
I like the way you imply that you never use it because it's bad for vegetarian food
whereas actually it's because you never cook.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:28, Reply)
you really do
excellent in the winter for hearty stews and casseroles, and the meat is cheaper because it can be old and tough and still comes out lovely.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:07, Reply)
*writes to Santa*

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:08, Reply)
why would you buy old, tough meat?

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:22, Reply)
I dunno, you still get laid every now and then right?

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:27, Reply)
Right on, sister!

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:27, Reply)
More flavour, innit, but the toughness is usually the downside so it's cheaper.
hence the slow cooker being awesome.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:29, Reply)
I'll break down your connecting tissue in a minute.....

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:30, Reply)
It can be more tasty and is cheaper

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:29, Reply)
they should give me a ban hammer
I would use it wisely and fairly

(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:24, Reply)
PEOPLE
people are cunty.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:27, Reply)
I didn't say you use it as an excuse.
I said when you're on the rag you wouldn't use it fairly or wisely.
(, Fri 20 Dec 2013, 11:24, Reply)
no, i think men use women being on the rag to justify their own shit behaviour
and women getting mad at them.

and if i'm wrong... you wait til you've got one wife and two kids on it at once. heh heh heh.
