I've just been on reddit reading a thread full of people who were unaware minesweeper was actually a playable game
they had no idea the little numbers meant how many bombs were adjacent, they thought you just randomly clicked until you died.

Then someone mentioned the flags and a whole new crop of people went "Wait, there are FLAGS?"
