But my cat spewed up a phoenix the other day.
I think she'd eaten a mouse and a bird but it looked like a phoenix on the kitchen floor and it's cost me £58 in antibiotics today.

I've only caught mine eating mice twice. He brought a stunned one in once and I had to scoop it up and throw it out.
He doesn't eat anything but kibble usually. Least he is keeping them away from the flat though!

I have a book of the complete catalogue of Factory Records artwork. I quite like Peter Saville, so his work as well as the rest will be a nice way to spend the evening. Also have more exams to study for.

I get proper scared easily, they were talking about aliens on the radio a few nights ago and I was convinced in my drug-lined sleep that there was something to it, it's why i'll never live in a house in the middle-of-no-where. When they talk about ghosts i'm the same.
Those 'found footage' films always get me, from The McFerson Report (which is laughably bad), to The Forth Kind to Paranormal Activity.
(, Tue 28 Jan 2014, 19:17, Reply)
Paranormal Activity 4 ruined it for me but The Marked Ones has brought it back. Hope they don;t drag it out much after the 5th.
(, Tue 28 Jan 2014, 19:26, Reply)
What got me with the first thing about the PA films, and I bet you some film-student has already noted this, is that it breaks all the rules with hauntings.... like shit happening in the daytime, in urban enviroments and with people being about. Normally these things are based in houses that are in the middle of nowhere, like a farm or forrest.
I ian't seen Marked Ones yet, think i've missed the boat so will wait for DVD. Gonna see Devil's Due tomo tho', which looks quite chilling.

I liked The Devil Inside too, though it ended quite quickly.
I love exorcism tales. The battle of religion, good and evil etc.
(, Tue 28 Jan 2014, 19:36, Reply)
I ain't seen Devil Inside yet, but I think I have a copy. You seen The Exorsim of Emily Rose? That was good. I much preffer them in a more 'modern' setting, I can relate more to it.

Whenever people ask where you would like to go if time travel were an option, I always say to the studio 54 era. The disco revolution in America. Getting fucked up on coke with "stars" and dancing the night away :)
