Alt: work, cleaning the house & eating bacon. Micro is away so no milf play until tomorrow.
AltAlt: it concerns me that UKIP seem to be continuing to grow their share of the vote.

they're a protest vote though
By elections always have results which are distorted. I can't see UKIP getting any MPs at the next general election. Maybe a couple at most.
(, Fri 14 Feb 2014, 7:27, Reply)
By-elections do always contain a proportion of protest voting; but there are two longer term trends - Liberal Democrat decline & UKIP growth, particularly in marginal seats.

the Lib Dems are fucked
If the next parliament is hung, I can see Labour going into coalition with the Lib Dems, minus Clegg and Alexander.

Then again, the LDs will probably lose even more seats than last time.
(, Fri 14 Feb 2014, 7:48, Reply)
If I was an MP it would be a well-hung parliament.

It was great.

Reasoned and mature debate^

(, Fri 14 Feb 2014, 8:20, Reply)
I think it was because of Alexander's refusal to enter a reasoned and mature debate that caused him to call him an arsehole.

UKIP are not growing anything, it concerns me that the electorate choose UKIP to signal their
dissatisfaction with the other parties.
(, Fri 14 Feb 2014, 7:29, Reply)
There's no-one else.
I think UKIP are swivel eyed loons (viz the recent 'gays are causing floods' fiasco) but the protest vote used to be LibDem - but as they're (for now) more mainstream there ain't nobody else to vote for.

Not really that relevant in this instance though
Very safe Labour seat, he got something like triple the votes of the UKIP chap,
(, Fri 14 Feb 2014, 8:22, Reply)
I hope UKIP continue to grow their share of the vote, particularly in marginal seats.
