Did you catch it from your daughter? I've found I've come down with more bugs since micro started hanging out with other kids - they seem to catch all sorts from each other.

Probably, she's fine though.
Since the middle of December I've only had about a week when I've not been ill with some sort of bug, and the coincides neatly with her starting nursery.

Seems to happen to most parents I know. I'm not looking forward to mine having chicken pox, but I know it's inevitable.

I've always been fine, clearly you both have inferior immune systems to me on account of me being genetically superior

Or your child is so unpleasant that other kids avoid it.

either that or mini ape is the kid that nobody goes near, so she doesn't pick up anything

Except without a regular testing and bolstering of your immune system, you are likely to be killed by a relatively innocuous bout of flu.

my uncle has genuinely never had a cold in his life
we've just been told he's got cancer. he's flatly refusing to tell his kids or grandkids, as apparently cancer is a sign of weakness or some such bullet headed Yorkshire farmer nonsense.

If only he'd had a few colds

he's like a lump of granite
I suspect he'll see off the cancer. fucking hope so anyway.

Aqueous calamine.
I've heard glowing reports of how good it is. Much better than calamine lotion.

this^
One calf in nursery, one calf in school, one wife working at a school

3 x the illness

Apart from me, who appears to be almost immune to most things

The old feller spent so long working on sewerage treatment plants
that he's practically immune to everything now. Except cancer, obviously. The massive drama queen.
(, Mon 24 Feb 2014, 11:23, Reply)
I had that cancer once, couple of paracetamol and an early night and I was back in work again the next day.

Yeah, he's all 'Oh, I'm dying, wah wah wah.'
The big jessie.

I'm not sure if it is a good or a bad thing to not be ill TBH

(, Mon 24 Feb 2014, 11:26, Reply)
It's a bad thing.
