plus al is here to be a lefty whinging hand ringer

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:35, 1 reply, 11 years ago)
he doesn't froth like a bad cappuccino anymore :(
fatherhood must have mellowed him. maybe because he realises what a shit world labour would give his kid.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:38, Reply)
Sadly it's more that I just can't be bothered anymore
There are so many horrible, horrible people in this world, like you, who actually view other human beings as non-entities and don't care that people can actually starve to death despite the obscene riches that some people think they are entitled too.

You're never going to change that attitude, and the people getting fucked over the most are the people most likely to believe the lies they're being sold, that it's all the fault of some benefit scrounger, and not that it's the fault of the people who literally gambled away other peoples money and then cried to the government when they realised they had lost it all.

Best part of a million people using food banks
This figure, of course, not including those too scared/proud/ignorant or whatever so are 'choosing' to starve instead.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:47, Reply)
also not including those that use it but don't need it, or those that go back time and time again
and they're not dying, they're hungry

Like that chap from the Daily Mail?

I really, genuinelly wish that you would suffer a truly horrific accident.
There really is nothing bad that could happen that I don't feel you are deserving of.

Yes they are. There are pensioners who can't afford to both heat their homes or eat, so they pick one and die the other way.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:47, Reply)
why haven't they saved for their retirement?
They knew it was coming
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:50, Reply)
Disgusting in a so-called 'civilised society'.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:51, Reply)
By and large I agree with you.
I firmly believe in nationalised social welfare and that the rich owe an obligation to support less fortunate people.

Buuuut I also believe people should be able to enjoy what they've worked for and that Labour are a bunch of cunts.

*shrug*
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:48, Reply)
i don't see why people that are capable of looking after them selves should have to prop up those to stupid or feckless to survive alone

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:49, Reply)
Basic humanity, Nakers.
But in should be in proportion. This business of it being more lucrative to stay on benefits than to work for a living is patently ridiculous.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:50, Reply)
pffft

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:52, Reply)
A situation that doesn't exist on any meaningful scale.
which bit of "the people getting fucked over the most are the people most likely to believe the lies they're being sold, that it's all the fault of some benefit scrounger" did you not understand?

This is what so frustrating, people like you who are too fucking stupid to see what the actual problem is, and instead get all worked up about things that contribute fuck all to the overall situation.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:53, Reply)
Half the welfare bill is pensions
If you stopped all unemployment type benefits tomorrow you'd not even put a tiny dent in the welfare budget.

Or are pensioners scroungers too?
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:56, Reply)
They will ultimately be next, yes.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:57, Reply)
not atb all
but the system was devised around average life spans in the 20s and needed to be updated with people working longer and contributing more. It makes perfect sense, but whaaaaaaa unions etc don't want to work longer so took strike action.

just another example of the lefties not taking responsibility for themselvbes
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:00, Reply)
Ah right, cool.
See, this is why people think you're a cunt, Al. It's because you're a fucking cunt.

People like you may think that, but as you've amply proved yourself to be a fucking retard on multiple occasions, I'm not gonna lose too much sleep over it.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:58, Reply)
I agree, it is difficult to take somebody seriously when they instantly start calling people names when something's said they don't like.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:00, Reply)
prick

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:01, Reply)
hahaha!

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:06, Reply)
It's not about whether I like it or not, it's the fact that you're saying something which is simply untrue
but rather than accept that and change your opinion, you just keep repeating it.

Try saying it with me "Benefit Fraud has contributed in no meaningful way to the problems the economy has suffered".

That isn't an opinion, it's a fact. Saying it isn't true doesn't change the fact, but it does make you a fucking idiot, which is why, when you refuse to accept this truth and keep repeating the lie, there is no point in saying anything to you other than that you are a fucking idiot.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:04, Reply)
He's right though, there are a miniscule amount of people better off on benefits than they would be working.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:01, Reply)
I don't recall specifying numbers, which Al would have noticed if he was capable of reading. I said it happened.
That it happens at all is a stupid situation.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:03, Reply)
The stupid situation is how the media, politicians and the public alike all allow such non-issues to dominate the agenda

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:04, Reply)
That is indeed also stupid.
The two things, however, are not mutually exclusive. That it is being blown up into a huge issue is stupid, so is the original situation.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:06, Reply)
No, no it isn't
and if you weren't such a fucking idiot you could see why what you just said was fucking stupid.

No system that exists on the scale of our welfare system can operate with no fraud at all, but it can operate with very low, insignificant levels of fraud. And it does.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:05, Reply)
Yeah, I'm pretty much just going to entirely ignore your arguments.
Since you're incapable of making them without sounding like a total cunt.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:10, Reply)
That's an excellent attitude, and typifies exactly what I said originally.
Instead of just going "Well I've never been so offended in my life" why not actually address the very simple point I made, which is that benefit fraud is no a meaningful contribution to any ill effects in the economy, and that in order to have a system that helps the people that need it 99% of the time, you have to help people that don't 1% of the time.

Or do you not actually have a response to that?
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:12, Reply)
If you actually want to change peoples' minds, you should probably talk to them rationally
rather than frothing at the mouth and name calling. It doesn't make you look terribly stable, old chap. Rather worried that you might have some kind of mental condition. Do you live in an area with high lead pollution levels?
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:14, Reply)
I don't care if I change your mind at all.
And everything you are writing simply reinforces what I'm saying, I dare you to suggest your are simply trying to troll, because as I said below, being stupid and not having a valid argument is not the same as trolling.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:17, Reply)
OK, so when you argue about topics like this, you're not trying to change anybody's minds.
Rather, it's simply an opportunity to rant at people and call them stupid?

I do apologise, you're sounding more stable by the minute.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:19, Reply)
You have demonstrated that you are unable to change your mind, and are therefore an idiot.
You are as bad as someone who believes in homeopathy.

Come back with an argument against what I've said above.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:21, Reply)
What's the point in coming back with an argument
when you've proved yourself unwilling to try to change any minds? You rant and rave, seemingly for your own amusement. There is a significant difference between being unable to formulate an argument and change opinions, and being unwilling to pay any attention to a ranty, foamy-mouthed prick.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:26, Reply)
Because if you actually came back with a defensible argument it would show that you weren't an idiot
but you can't, because your only argument is "benefit fraud is really significant and it's vital that it cannot happen ever", which as I've said is both an impossibility and an argument born of considering all other human beings who aren't as lucky as you to be beneath you and unworthy of assistance.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:30, Reply)
What's sad is how many of these traits you claim to despise
you display yourself.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:33, Reply)
Can you please list these traits?
Because i've only pointed out one trait, singular, and if you can provide evidence that I actually look down on people who claim benefits for whatever reason then I'd love to see it.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:35, Reply)
I see
but then a lot of stupid things happen everyday that are ridiculous but happen so little people don't really pay it much mind, but evil benefit scroungers are front page news and on TV despite the fact they really aren't causing harm to the economy.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:06, Reply)
Bit of over-simplification going on there
And supporting less fortunate people isn't really enough.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:49, Reply)
why are they less fortunate, surely they are simply less capable?

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:50, Reply)

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:05, Reply)
HAHAHA YEAH I DUN A TROLL ON YOU ACKSHUALLY
It's not trolling when you are actually just stupid.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:06, Reply)
I didn't say I was trolling you, I said Nakers was.
You really do have difficulties with very simple comprehension, don't you?
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:08, Reply)
Care to actually address the argument, or are you too busy rolling on the floor like bella trying to tie your shoes?

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:13, Reply)
Well, you've pretty convincingly swayed me to Nakers' viewpoint, actually.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:17, Reply)
So you don't have anything to add to the fact that you are stating lies as facts.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:21, Reply)
I don't have anything I care to add, Al.
If you can't have a discussion without slagging people off, then you are beneath contempt.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:27, Reply)
This is about the most tragic thing I've seen you write.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:28, Reply)
You should get into American politics.
You'd fit right in on a Fox network-style political debate.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:31, Reply)
You should actually learn about things before you mouth off with untrue statements
It's not my job to gently inform you of everything that goes on in the world.

This entire things started with me saying that I found the whole situation incredibly depressing because so many people don't bother to listen to reasoned debate and instead blame benefit scroungers.

You then came along and did exactly that, and you wonder why, once i've pointed out that you're wrong, I have nothing left to say but that you're the kind of idiot that makes me depressed about my daughters future.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:34, Reply)
I don't take issue with being proved wrong.
I take issue with your fucking attitude, which is easily one of the most disgusting I've encountered. You talk about people looking down on others and then freely do the same. You talk about swipe being allegedly pleasant and personable in real life and a twat on forums and then display precisely the same behaviour, with precisely the same "he's nice in real life" statements made about you. You say you don't care about changing peoples' minds, yet berate me for what you erroneously see as me being incapable of changing mine.

You're a deeply unpleasant character, from what I see. Worse than that, you're a hypocrite. I see absolutely no point in engaging with you on any sort of topic because you're completely unbearable to talk to.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:44, Reply)
Oooooooh.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:48, Reply)
I didn't say I didn't understand why swipe was a twat on forums
I said I couldn't square her attitude to other human beings in general, which she holds both on and offline, with the fact that when you meet her she is friendly.

It's not just her, a lot of people are perfectly nice when you talk to them face to face, but swallow the lies peddled that someone else is getting something for nothing and it's making their life harder.

It's an attitude I don't understand, I don't like, and, since it seems impossible to change, I find very depressing.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:51, Reply)
Also, I don't care about changing your mind, because you've proved yourself to be an idiot incapable of listening to reason
I'm happy to engage to debate with anyone, but what I'm not going to do is waste my timing justifying your position in this situation by implying it is merely a differing opinion to mine, rather than, as it is, the thoughtless blithering of an idiot.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:54, Reply)

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:53, Reply)
add to that the politicians of all sides
who won't look further than the 5 years of glory leading to their directorships, long as they can hand out a few sops to the proles to stop them revolting in the meantime, who cares if when the next lot get in the whole house of cards falls down?
Longer it gets propped up, the bigger the crash is going to be.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:49, Reply)
Im with you on this.
We have enough money, power and sense in the world to eradicate poverty completely.
Some people think wealth is an entitlement.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:56, Reply)
It's not only that
All the evidence shows that if you are born into a reasonable well off family, you are more likely to end up alright and if you are born into poverty you are more likely to remain in poverty.
For all their faults, that prick Blair's government were actually making some effort towards addressing this.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 15:03, Reply)
Labour borrowed and borrowed, plus sent us to war with Iraq
Conservatives took back to pay back the borrowing and continued warring.

When I look at the parties, I look for a leader. One who will speak his mind and not hide behind others. Farage seems the most likely out of all the candidates to do this.
I will admit I don;t know the pros and cons of Europe. I do believe we should never take on the Euro as currency.
I do believe we should tighten our immigration laws and only let people in who will give something to the country. Look how hard it is to get into Australia, and they seem to do just fine.
