Oh'yeah', I got in contact with someone from borrowmydoggy.com
I'm going to call her today to see if I can borrow her dog one day this weekend.

How much of it do you have to return?

(, Tue 31 Mar 2015, 15:42, Reply)
I saw someone else talking about this.
It looks like a swiz so people with dogs don't have to pay for a dog walker.

I wouldn't trust anybody with my dog
no matter how good the website is.
(, Tue 31 Mar 2015, 16:01, Reply)
They took proper identification checks'n'stuff.
But I don't disagree

Yah', plus sitter too.
On the other hand, I don't have to pay any vet bills or stuff like that.

Just help out at a rescue centre.
You never know one of the nurses with aspirations of being a vet might let you hold her hand.

i'd love to do this if i weren't allergic to nearly fucking everything with hair
battersea dogs home sometimes needs kitten socialisers. KITTEN SOCIALISERS. that's people who get to sit and play with KITTENS.

and i'd sneeze and wheeze myself to death and probably blow ten tiny cats out of the window :(

That would be an awesome job.
And I say that as a confirmed dog person.

I learnt something that might be relivient the other day; Fur and Hair are two different things...
... and people who are 'allergic to dogs' are normally not alerigic to both (ie, like, you've got hair on your head). I think it's poodle-crosses that have that.
(, Tue 31 Mar 2015, 16:12, Reply)
i'm generally fine with poodles
and wire-haired dogs. so that means our future dog will be a wirehaired dachshund or jack russell or some sort of cross probably, as poodles are a bit.... well, i couldn't take the piss out of weepee or sporters any more let's put it that way...
(, Tue 31 Mar 2015, 16:17, Reply)
I think it's a cruel trick that the only dogs people with allergies can have are poodles.

(, Tue 31 Mar 2015, 16:57, Reply)
Jack Russels FTW
The Doris has one - awesome dog! And they're probably the only small dog a man can get away walking into a pub with - can you imagine turning up in a bar with a poodle?
