I'm watching Battlestar Galactica and drinking tea. Oh yes - that's how cool I am. How cool are you?

That liquid nitrogen freezes on me.
Kinda hurts though.

not to watch BSG any more. Even though I'm a huge geek and stuff, I've just lost interest in it.

This afternoon, as one of my wood-monkeys managed to find out what his finger-bones look like, with the help of a chisel.
*sighs*

Collectively from the last year where I paused momentarily to say 'What the FRAK Battlestar Galactica?!' then change the channel.

We had to sedate a very scared 30kg dog today, so we thought we were fine with just muzzling him. Turns out he likes to scratch as well.

There was lots of blood, but that doesn't really bother me.
I was the one who had to first-aid him, so I did a good job.
Then laughed at him while we were waiting at the hospital, as he wanted a smoke, but had to stay there.
I, however, went out for quite a few.
EDIT: Ouch, dog attack :\

That looks nasty becky.
Were you in kings cross tube station at about 5pm on sunday? I thought I saw you, but I couldn't stop as there was a massive crush of people and I was trying to catch a train.
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 18:45, Reply)

so I didn't bother again after that.
Yes I was, I thought I saw you too but wasn't sure if it was you or not, so didn't really want to shriek AL it's me at the top of my lungs :)
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 18:46, Reply)

I'm leaving in a bit to go to some form of metal night - though BSG would be a plan also.... if I had the 2nd series.
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 18:46, Reply)

I would have loved for someone to shout "Al it's me!" in a crowded tube station.
Sorry for not checking it was you and saying hello.

You make my willy go hard.
I don't even need to stroke your nipples.

And I have my first headache for months.
I now have pepperoni pizza and Strongbow, so things are looking up!

I'm trying not to drink this week it's been slightly excessive over the last few.
*stands up* Hi everyone, my name is TGB and I have a drinking problem
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 19:17, Reply)

the government's recommended number of alcohol units per week has no scientific basis. They just made a number up that sounded right.
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 19:23, Reply)

I don't have a drinking problem. I never miss my mouth, and on sunday I was only sick once.
I was sick on saturday as well.
On the road, as I was walking back from the rugby.
But I blame the guinness.

( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 21:16, Reply)

from the beginning. Up to S02Ep09 :)
Have seen up to the middle of 3 though but not since that was on in the states years ago so needed to refresh my memory of it :)

It's a fine evening, and I has laptop again! Woot!
Are you all well?
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 21:49, Reply)

Gah!
Tried to order some furniture from Argos today only to realise the item I had in mind had been discontinued. I was also kept in late by some guy at work who had a 'brilliant' idea for what I should be doing, only to find out someone else was doing it. And the busses were a bit rubbish today.
I am however thinking of getting myself a new bike tomorrow to replace the one that was stolen last month. I asked two shops about their opinions on bike-security. One suggested I get an armour-plated lock, and the other a D-lock with an additional lock to tie up the rest of my bike.

Just have to finish something and you can have me all to yourselves.
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 21:58, Reply)

Today is the first day in 2 weeks that I have been able to do my day job!
'Twas a nice experience. Except that b3ta now appears to be permanently blocked at work, even outside core hours. Big flashy warning signs saying "what the fuck do you think you're doing? Get back to work you slacker cunt".
What have I missed?
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 21:58, Reply)

We were going to save you some party poppers but I think someone ate them
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:04, Reply)

How does one get their hands on one of them?
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:14, Reply)

Is this where everyone unscrews their norks and throws them at eachother like a big balloon-fight?
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:15, Reply)

If you only got sent one? Surely two would be far better?
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:28, Reply)

One at a time is enough for most men!
Not me mind you, I'd prefer 3 or 4.
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:32, Reply)

If the first one does'nt work for you, you try the second.
I work in the mail order business. That's how it goes. Buy two, keep the best, send the second back.
It'll be nicely reconditioned, sealed, and sent back good as new to the next customer.
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:37, Reply)

We didn't take anything back unless it didn't work, ever.
Nooooooooeeeeeeesssssss I can't find my BSG season 1 boxset, bugger it!
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:43, Reply)

That's a bit boring, I was hoping on somewhere a bit more.......Interesting!
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 22:54, Reply)

My guts are churning, I've apparently eaten all the party poppers and now I'm exhorting people to pull my finger - which traditionally accompanies the breaking of wind.
Yes, multicoloured paper streamers are being fired from my arse almost continually. I was hoping no one would bring it up.
Edit: Well, that was a showstopper. I wasn't REALLY hoping no one would bring it up, I was hoping I'd get points for Artistic Impression.
( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 23:01, Reply)

why you had gaily coloured pants.
But I must be away, my poor empty bed is calling on me to keep it company, since nobody else does.
Hail and farewell me hearties, we shall meet again when the sun is once more in the sky*.

Sorry I've not been in all day, I've been rather busy. Pratchett books don't read themselves, after all. Oh, and for the graphic artists among you, a friend asked me to design a metallic-looking business card for him. Reckon this will do?

( , Mon 19 Jan 2009, 23:17, Reply)

but it took me 5 minutes to work out the first word was sharpish.
Hi everyone.
*yawn*
Bye everyone, love you all.

Perhaps you could make the top line of the 's' a bit thicker (the two merged lines would be the same height as the merged lines of the 'e').
