What is the worst sequel of all time?

My starter for ten would be Superman 4: The Quest For Peace. What an unmitigated pile of wank that was.

Come to think of it, I saw this at the pictures the same week as Jaws: The Revenge. Which is also cack, but at least it has Michael Caine uttering the immortal line "Oh shit. A shark", so it's not all bad.

Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions
Now, I loved the first Matrix film, but these sequels took the piss. They're 'ok' as films in their own right, but as sequels they disappear up their own arse.

Also Spiderman 2 & 3, especially the third one. A dance routine? *shakes head in shame*

Yes, there was a second one. It went straight to DVD.

Actually, thinking about it, that makes it into the 'so bad it's fucking amazing' category. They only bothered hiring 6 or 8 actors (none of whom you'll have heard of), and building about two sets. Fucking marvellous!

Starship Troopers 3 is not actually too bad
it's a dickload better than 2. Starship Troopers is my favourite film, so I feel qualified to recommend that you watch 3.

Obviously not as good as the first one, but still worth a watch.
