Friz's blog got me thinking.
I'm 33. In another 33 years I'll be 66. See, Big Brain Academy really does work.
My point. I've realised that if I live another 33 years it'll be a good innings. Despite recently feeling like I'm approaching middle age, thirty three years is a bloody long time to look forward to.
So, double your age, post it here and tell me if it's too long, not long enough or BLAZE OF GLORY MOTHERFUCKERS!

I hope to have built my HufHaus and be living in a different country by then, so that means I've only got 24 years left to become a millionaire.
My bank balance is currently -£958 and payday was 4 days ago. 24 years is probably not long enough.

good aim to have. they are forking lovely.
My one aim in life has been to have a Porsche by the time I'm 30. I have 2 years and 2 months to go. I reckon I can do it.

48 too. Let's have a 'At Last We're 48 Club' in 24 years' time.

I'll still have no money, wont own a house and I'm not looking forward to it.

Not long enough, although there is a tendency on both sides of my family to die before they reach 65

Far too fucking long. Fuck it. Fuck. Bastard.
I'm old and getting really old.

I've given up calling it the Hawaiian Birthday. It is now just referred to as Bastard Day. I'm not looking forward to this one. I'll probably be fine on monday when I realise it's just another number and nothing has fallen off.

This has a nice ring to it.

I have been compared with, at various times, Basil Fawlty, C-3PO and the little baby Stewie from Family Guy. Cholmondeley-Warner is a welcomed addition....
Break was 6/10. Resort vile, GF's son vile for the most and things not really resolved with GF.
On Tuesday I had the most wonderful afternoon though - took my daughter to the local outdoor pool for her first ever swim. In my top five days of my life, ever. Holiday a distant memory now due to crippling workload and joy over Tuesday afternoon.
Just realised I now appear to be communicating WWII radio style. Repeat, proceed to next checkpoint and report back, over.

Woo on the swimming. Give her confidence holding her breath underwater, teach her to swim underwater, and the rest will come naturally. Copy?

that teaching kiddo to swim was one of the most incredibly fulfilling things I've ever done. We always went together as she so rarely went with her mum and siblings, and she's a complete natural in the water now.

A healthy (and cheap!) activity we can do together for many years.
I still can't take her out on my own but when I can this is the kind of thing I plan to do. Also taking her to the aquarium/exotic fish shop - she couldn't get enough of the movement and bright colours....

I shall be sitting in my comfy chair and telling stories of when I danced at the Hacienda.

It must be the old age getting to your mind...

So with luck, I'll still be defiling bogs up and down the land with weapons-grade shit-tsunamis.

So with luck, I'll still be defiling

I'm less than a year away from a milestone birthday.

*sigh*
The past few days has seen an influx of pictures of my dancing on a bar in my pants uploaded to facebook.

Ze big 50!
Meh another 25 years, thats more than enough time for world domination!
( , Thu 4 Jun 2009, 10:36, Reply)

That's ages. Adding my age again gives 87. Another 58 years and I'll still be five years younger than my granddad (is now), who is still regularly charming his care workers.
( , Thu 4 Jun 2009, 10:38, Reply)

So if I live as long again as I have already, I'll be pretty average.
( , Thu 4 Jun 2009, 10:41, Reply)

I'm nearly 41 so lets say 81 as double my age.
Put like that I do feel younger, although I don't know how likely I am to make it that far.
( , Thu 4 Jun 2009, 10:48, Reply)

Huh. I always find it surprising when you find out peoples actual ages online. I honestly don't know why.
( , Thu 4 Jun 2009, 10:47, Reply)

Seems like more than enough time to set up my own business. We shall see...
( , Thu 4 Jun 2009, 10:47, Reply)

So, as it turns out, double my age is younger than quite a few people present day.
It still seems pretty old to me though. Can't even imagine being 36.

Were we talking about something? What day is it?
