Hooray
In less than a week I have exams in Calculus, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering.

So now is the fucking best time possible for me to get fucking GLANDULAR FEVER.

But it's not all bad. The doctors say it might just be tonsillitis! I'd only have to get my tonsils removed! Lucky me!

Today was not a good day.

Exams at what level?

(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:39, Reply)
if they are specifically calculus and engineering
then it's probably lowish level. I never had calculus seperated from maths and physics

First Year Uni
according to the profile

In that case...
call your course administrator and get your mitigating circumstances form in now, even if you're going to take your exams.

Bacause you're old.

They do things differently in this day and age.

I only graduated a bit under 5 years ago
things surely haven't changed at uni that much!
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:45, Reply)
Hmm
Can't imagine that a combined Calculus and math and physics class would go into nearly as much depth as seperate ones for each... By the way, i didn't mention a maths course :)

*laught*

(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:45, Reply)
The engineering one is a piece of piss
They needed another course to throw at us. so in that course we learn about significant figures and SI units and dimensional analysis.... Which is great except we learnt it all in 5th form

(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:59, Reply)
Of course yours was funnier,
Because you're a girl, online, so everyone wants to agree with you.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 14:01, Reply)
Actually...
I didn't quite get that either.

But, I realised it was meant to be funny, whereas Al's was just a wiki link. So yes, it was funnier.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 14:02, Reply)

*sad faces so hard he cries*

(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:57, Reply)
Hope you get better soon, either way.
But especially if it's glandular fever, its a bitch.

I got it last year, a couple of days after my last exam. Lived on the sofa for a week.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:48, Reply)
That would be the ideal time to get it.
In 2 weeks, when all my exams are finished. Damn my failing body
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:49, Reply)
Only I missed out on the week's break before everyone elses exams finished.
Bit of a downer.

If it is glandular fever, you can look forwards to a year or so of getting sick really easily, and general moodiness and depression. Hence the sincere hope its not.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:55, Reply)
oh hoorah!
sounds like you had a bit of a cunt of a time.
I hope it's not too. But I've got all the symptoms... inflamed tonsils, mega swollen glands, headaches, fevers, loss of appetite, sore throat, tiredness, aching....

:(
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:59, Reply)
Its ok, just about finished with it now.
And my dick of an ex bore the brunt of it, so its ok :D

Good luck with it, and with your exams.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 14:14, Reply)
My advice is to get really drunk the night before the exams...
that didn't work too well for me but you might be different.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 13:59, Reply)
Tonsils out for tonsilitis?
The 1950s called. They want their doctors back.
