Have you ever read anything or had something said to you on a forum that's made you leave or consider leaving? For me it would take quite a lot as I know that in all likelihood, I'm never going to meet the person who's said it and that if they knew me they'd reconsider their words

eventually, I came to my senses after an hour or so and realised it's just the internet and let it go.
Not sure it would ever have made me leave (permanently) but I was getting angry at the time.
I've been much happier here ever since, and much more tolerant of the internet as a whole.
We're all c*nts to someone else, and as long as you accept that, the internet is a fun place to be

There's no point if you don't take it seriously.

Even if people are taking the piss or bitching, it means that they care. Maybe not in a good way, but you've still got to them. I like that.

Sorry to disappoint, little man.
Fair point on the band though.

I'm more likely to leave as I don't really get into conversations a lot here, so I post a LOT less than I used to.

Not sure why, but I've never had anything be rejected by them.

An admin/sysop once said to me 'You're banned'. I was offended and never logged back in.

I had an epic flounce on the old 606 website many many moons ago after a long slow boiling argument kicked off into a fully fledged shitstorm between about 10 people!
If someone on here pushes my buttons and gets the blood boiling I usually write some vitriolic spleen venting reply and then not post it

But isn't that what the ignore button is for? The main reason I leave a forum is due to boredom, mainly.

I was part of a massive group on NationStates. But things got all crazy and the line between reality and internet blurred and massive fighting/slagging ensued so I never logged in again.
But now I'd be all like "lolz I can haz internetz fun"
