I've just got off the phone
to a bloke called Ted Holiday.

Who have you spoken to of late who has a brilliant name?

Alternatively, what are you doing this weekend?

Oh all sorts.
A fella by the name of Keith Godbehere, as well as the impressively named Susan Battlemuch.

However nothing beats Barrington Dalrymple, a Mrs Shitta and Revlon Cato for impressively named people.

Remember Reader's Digest?
Where the letters were signed by "Tom Champagne"

Also, when in a metting, the boss's mobile rang. With the Nokia standard ringtone, and the guy was a dead ringer for Dom Joly. It was uncanny. Anyway, he answered the phone and it was a wrong number, someone asking for "Gertrude Millington", which sounds like some old dear in an episode of Poirot.

No, I don't sadly.
'Tis a great name though, full of 1970's promise.

Theresa Tickle
She answers the phones ' Hello, Tess speaking' and I have to try very hard not to laugh.

Her email signature also reads TESS TICKLE.

Hee hee :0)

Friend of a friend
recently got married and there was some debate as to what to do with their surnames. They ended up using the more ordinary of the two (close to Smith for commonality if I remember correctly)

the other name that they decided not to use: Juggernaut

just imagine it: Hi, I'm Mr Juggernaut
(, Fri 31 Jul 2009, 15:37, Reply)
"and I'm the Juggernaut's bitch"

Having worked in a library
We had some doozies on our system:

Colin Pooe
Diego Ponce
Sylvana Fukalova
Claudio Wanko

There was also a Garth Vader but that was almost definitely a wind up. A tiny part of me wishes it wasn't.

Also worked with
Don Law. Simple, but almost absolutely should have a cop show specifically made for him. "DC Law was on the wrong side of town. But its HIS town, and he IS THE LAW." or something funny.
