Yay! I've found a tattooist to go to.
www.tattooed-lady.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1&Itemid=1

Slightly NSFW

Easy to get to and looks the business and I might get a dermal anchor at the back of the neck too.

Woo! for grabbing the bull by the horns.

Morning!
What tat are you getting? My re-ink has just about healed now.

I've found a Vietnamese buddhist saying.
'Smile, breathe and go slowly', which I'd like around the wrist. Or I might just get the word 'breathe' on the inside of my wrist in some fancy script. I also want a star on my foot.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:18, Reply)
My tattooist said he was sick to death of doing stars.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:50, Reply)
I know they are very popular but I like them.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:51, Reply)
My tattooist who did my wrist
said stars on the inside of your wrist count as "hardcore" and are therfore allowed. Fairies on the otherhand are for pathetic spiritual freaks

*awaits to see who I have offended with that comment*
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:52, Reply)
I'm dreading the tattoo on my wrist but I really want it there.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:54, Reply)
It's not too bad as long as you relax
Your wrist will swell up like a balloon though and you will have three days of looking at your big bloaty hand attachment thinking "WHAT THE FUCK HAVE I DONE!?"

But once it goes down it's all good
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:55, Reply)
That might just be you.
The wrist was pretty painful on the outlining but I didn't really feel it on the shading. It's all over in no time though so don't work yourself up about it.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:03, Reply)
Hey! you're speaking to a women who got her fanny pierced.
I'm well ard.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:05, Reply)
Or the fact you have a piddly little
amount on your wrist and I have a full band?
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:07, Reply)
^This

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:08, Reply)
I knew that was coming.
Never mind, I know I'm awesome.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:32, Reply)
This studio has a manifesto FFS
My only question would be "Is the needle clean?" not "what is your philosophy?"

Also it is in Failsworth, which should tell you something.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:18, Reply)
One of the best tattooists in the Uk works in Middleton.
He did my first tattoo but I'm not going back because he has an horrendous waiting list and he's a wanker.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:19, Reply)
Two good reasons there

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:20, Reply)
I want another tattoo
But I have no idea what I want, no money and no idea where to go

*sad face*
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:44, Reply)
Underground logo, plus "Mind The Gap".
You know where.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:45, Reply)
*moar sadface*

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:47, Reply)
Aw! you've got plenty of time to get it done.
It's taken me ten years since my first tattoo to get my shit together to sort out another.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:48, Reply)
But I normally
celebrate my birthday with a new tat. And this year I have failed to get my shit together
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:49, Reply)
Full facial spider-web and 'skins' on the knuckles.
That's what I've got and I've never regretted it.

Now I must get back to my bin-round.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:47, Reply)
Can't imagine you as a bin man
Rag and Bone man on the other hand...
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:49, Reply)
'Steptoe and son'
was actually a documentary about my family.

*bathes in sink*
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:54, Reply)
BEEF and PORK on the fingers of either hand

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:44, Reply)
I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit
that the best tattoo I've ever seen was on the back of a white supremacist I saw in a documentary once. It was fucking amazing.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:57, Reply)
Was it a nazi unicorn
shitting a rainbow?
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 9:58, Reply)
Was it David Bowie being disembowled?

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:00, Reply)
It was a full back tattoo.
I've just written what it actually was and subsequently deleted it as it made me look so dodgy. It was highly Teutonic, let's put it that way...
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:09, Reply)
You can still admire the design and application without agreeing with the idea behind the tattoo.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:10, Reply)
It was truly superb.
I know heaps of people with tattoos and I do like some of them but I doubt I'll ever get one.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:18, Reply)
Yeah! It's one of those things you really need to love to go through.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:24, Reply)
Then you get one
you get addicted you want more more more, how do you liek it how do you like it
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:37, Reply)
But I could never think of a design I'd want for life.
I've considered my family's heraldic crest but I fear that might be too pompous even for me.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:41, Reply)
that would be fucking pompous

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:46, Reply)
It's a nice one, though:

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:51, Reply)
just checked out mine for the first time in years
it's cooler than I remember.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:58, Reply)

mine is a load of crap. and far too common for tattooing
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 10:59, Reply)
Mine's got everything you could want
a helmet, lions heads, a chevron, flaggy bits

what more could you ask for?
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:03, Reply)
in your case?
a croissant
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:04, Reply)
Erm.....

Thrust.

Hahah.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:10, Reply)
Your next tattoo should be a bulldog then.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:12, Reply)
a bulldog stood in a giant yorkshire pudding
wearing a monocle and drinking a pint
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:16, Reply)
A bulldog with Nick Griffin's face.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:19, Reply)

Hahha

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:23, Reply)
take that, change the red to blue
remove the stars and but 3 lion heads on the shield and one in place of the sun and you have mine.

very similar

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:18, Reply)
i just looked mine up
its quite similar to this as well.

put a lion under the sun, change the stars for fleur-de-lis outside the chevron, and change the white for yellow.

strangely, it also comes in blue and yellow

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 12:22, Reply)
Don't know, I picked this up from some website so it could be dodgy
I rather liked it, really I was expecting more Fleur de Lils
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 12:27, Reply)
It does rather strike me
as easy money - generate a coat-of-arms from a standard template and sell merchandise to suckers with ideas above their station.
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 12:38, Reply)
haha although my family branch
is not illustrious, it definitely has a real coat of arms. But I think I'd rather shoot myself than use it. Pure, pure pretension
(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 12:43, Reply)
Needs more Bowie.

(, Wed 17 Mar 2010, 11:25, Reply)
