shoes!
I know this isn't /links, but there are some fellow shoe lovers here, right? how amazing are these shoes?! ifshoescouldkill.com/2010/05/15/i-want-to-crumble-these-shoes-on-a-salad/

sadly I have no money for incredible shoes at the moment, as I'm about to buy yet another pushchair.

however, if you had limitless funds, what footwear would you purchase?

I don't do fancy footwear. I have big feet and can't walk in heels.
I would love a really battered pair of biker boots though.

Next time you're in the north-east get DG to take you to FLIP

(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:23, Reply)
I didn't get it until the next morning,
and I was hungover and forgot about it sorry.
I didn't end up going to the gig in the end.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:24, Reply)
Was it in KoKo?
Because it would have been weird.

Or not.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:25, Reply)
It was in the Dublin and Castle?
Not sure where that is.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:26, Reply)
I take it you're not cool enough for Mr Scruff.
No idea either, I don't really go to Camden. Apart from for cocktails and falafel.

any news of the Islington job?
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:29, Reply)
I've had a drink with Mr Scruff tyvm.
No news on the job yet, will probably hear this week or early next week.

Jealous. He's amazing. He had a tea stand. It made my life complete.

Best of luck. Seems like a great opportunity, leaving paperclips behind and onto selling the photocopiers
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:36, Reply)
He's shit
he's been working on the back of one album from about 10 years ago and his DJ sets are phenomenally boring.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:46, Reply)
I had a brilliant time.
Apart from holding a cigarette at the wrong end on the way home :(

Mr Scruff mugs are awesome.

I can't understand women's obsession with shoes
So long as they're comfy and stop my feet getting wet, I'm happy.

I have three pairs of brown shoes which I wear regularly, alternating the days so they don't get too smelly, and a pair of black dressy ones. A pair of 'good' trainers, which I wear in summer, and a pair of old trainers for working in the garden or fixing cars etc.

And that's it.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:07, Reply)
Ahh man do you reckon they do a vegetarian version?
Though from the looks of it they're made of canvass. So they might actualy be vegetarian anyway.

Alt Q - I'm pretty happy with the shoes I already have. Mostly. I'd quite like some more vans though. They're very comfy
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:08, Reply)
I wrecked the last lot of Vans I had
Broke the backs of them through being lazy and not untying them, just squeezing my feet in and out of them.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:12, Reply)
Ahh, that's what causes that?
I'm gonna have to be better with these ones :S
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:19, Reply)
Ah used to do that the whole time with mine
Now my shoes with laces cover my ankles, so I can't do that wihtout breaking my foot.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:24, Reply)
I love these shoes
www.elnaturalista.com/index.php/en/online-shop/all-products/organico/N072/nw072-pull-grain-brown-tb-lilaorganico
they are the comfiest shoes I've ever owned, so I just keep buying them in different colour combinations. I'm not really a heels person, but love to lust after them!

k2k6, men just don't get it, and never will, sadly!
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:12, Reply)
Shoes with Lego heels!

(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:18, Reply)
No, you're right
We'll never understand.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:49, Reply)
I love my shoes
I have over 40 pairs, at last count. Probably gone up.

A decent pair of hard wearing brown leather hsoes. I like them, plus if I get decent ones they'll last. I hate overpriced vintage and overpriced cheap shoes (topshop flats, looking at you. Your sole is a thin strip of plastic and you're still charging 50£ for those pretty shoes. Give them a proper sole then MAYBE)

Then I would buy every shoe I ever wanted. Which would be a lot.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:28, Reply)
Because it seems I have become a massive gay, I would require:
New Rock giant goth boots that don't murder my feet like the ones I have at the moment
Decent running shoes
Black and white wingtips
MOAR burgundy leather dress shoes
Swear would need to start making trainers again, then I could have some of them

...I think that's about it. For now.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 11:34, Reply)
I love Swears!

(, Mon 24 May 2010, 12:22, Reply)
I would definitely have the ducks.
I would worry that people would think the goldfish were real and I was a horrible person.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 12:23, Reply)

This new pushchair - does it mean you're up the duff again?

(, Mon 24 May 2010, 12:39, Reply)
no
just need different pushchairs for different days - we're geting married soon, and that means travelling halfway across europe in our car, so our current massive great tank of a pushchair seems a little unnecessary - someone at work is selling a little old lightweight one, so I'm getting that.
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 12:48, Reply)
I do apologise
that must be the 2nd dullest ot reply ever (after this one)
(, Mon 24 May 2010, 12:49, Reply)
The getting married and euro-hike outweighs the buggy talk.
