This morning
when I was asked how I knew something-or-other, I said "because I spied it with my rectal skills!...NO! RETINAL! I MEANT RETINAL!"

Ooops.

Anyway, I've been having fun doing a mild bit of trolling on the "Miss Me Yet? I love George W Bush" page on arsebook.

What have you lot been doing to avoid work this lovely Friday afternoon?

Letting the computer do my work instead.
And now my computer is getting its own back by stopping me from going to the pub. GRRR.

Nice rectal skills, by the way.

A long lunch with old friends.
From 11.45 to 16.15. Marvellous.
(, Fri 4 Jun 2010, 17:52, Reply)
liquid lunch?

(, Fri 4 Jun 2010, 17:53, Reply)
Funnily enough no.
Just one glass of red and a pint of abbots ale. But plenty of good grub.

Las weekend was good though. Made 3 litres of rum punch (half litre of bacardi, half litre of cocnut rum, a litre of tropical fruit juice and 1 litre lemonade.). Me, boy and wife flattened it in about 40 minutes. Speshul.

sounds good, what did you have?

(, Fri 4 Jun 2010, 18:01, Reply)

Eaties was a mediterranean veg medley with a crusty cous cous topping, garlic bread and salad.
Finished off with lemon cheesecake. All home made by a top-hole cook.
Afterwards sat in the sun with a good cigar, a nice espresso and some brandy.

Buggered off home at lunchtime
did some laundry, read a book in the park, then was the hit of a 4 year old's birthday tea with my PlayDoh present. Even eclipsed, for a while, the doll carrier (actually a bike) her dad got her.
(, Fri 4 Jun 2010, 18:54, Reply)

I'm doing sewing instead of going out and drinking
Well, I went and sat in the park with my friends, and they were decamping to the pub, but I'm feeling a little delicate after the gin last night so thought I'd save it for the Epic Lash that will be tomorrow, drinking from about 10. Yeahhh.

So I'll be in the kitchen, with bedsheets and scissors and sewing shit.

I'M INCREDIBLY HAPPY TO BE DOING THIS. Man I love sewing
