And I guess I'd live nocturnally, sleeping during the day to avoid being burnt too badly.
I'd take a lot of music and a good supply of knitting for something to do with my hands.
I would love catlike traits- can sleep anywhere, look after themselves, don't give a fuck about anything or anyone but are still awesome.

Unless you find yourself a hot spring or something.

And it feels so good. You go out, you get drunk, you dance, you are so hot and sticky that you go to the beach, get nacked and to the water!

I read somewhere that at night the sea is warmer than the land... but I may be wrong.

but as you can see by the rest of this thread, I'm being pretty thick today.

That usually at night the air is colder than during the day, so with the sea keeping the temperature of the water more or less the same at night, or even a bit lower than during the day, it feels warmer inside the water.
Now, if it's windy, you'll never want to go out of the water, as it'll feel freezing.

I miss so much the after party swim on the beach. The best thing in the world!

Especially Cornish beaches. I don't mnd the cold at all- I went swimming in the Irish sea in November. Brrrr.

I don't go inside the water unless it's 25degC outdoors.

I'm not really a hot weather person but relaxing in the sun is gonna be great, not to mention getting rat-arsed with Tourettes and DG every night.

I'm not really a hot weather person either

viking ancestry and whatnot. it was almost too hot for me here a few weekends back

I dunno where my heat intolerance comes from. Possibly as I don't really feel the cold, I feel the heat more. Or some shit.
Maybe it's the Jew in me having an instinctive reaction against furnaces.

as my brothers are fine with heat, although I have more of the characteristics than them.
I don't feel the cold particularly, although I feel it more since losing weight.
damn negative side effects

I'm a bit better now I've lost some weight but I sometimes find it difficult, especially if it's warm and moist weather like it was in Thailand. Dry heat is better.

and likewise I'm better since I've lost some weight

I'm so jealous!
I'm hoping I can take a couple of days in August and go to Tenerife and enjoy the sun.
(, Thu 10 Jun 2010, 10:51, Reply)
I'm looking forward to being able to just sit and read in the warmth. Also, cocktails.
(, Thu 10 Jun 2010, 10:53, Reply)
belm. I'm going to Tenerife, not Spain. I keep getting confused because it's my parents' timeshare and there's one in Tenerife and Spain, this one is in Tenerife.
(, Thu 10 Jun 2010, 11:08, Reply)
Tenerife IS in Spain and IS part of Spain. Geographically (sp?) is closer to Africa, but we're dammed if we're going to let those Moroccans put their hands on it!!

That's great! I can tell you tons of places to go and to avoid. If you don't have a hotel already, try not to stay anywhere west of El Médano (El Médano is the last place in the South that is not completely taken by guiris)
