Buf
You're giving me a headache now.

Again.

Last one (I'm going home soon)

Let's see...

Which thing you read here or heard from a b3tan has made you laugh more?

Back in the day
When Kaol wrote a tale of the snake-penised bird, and made an accompanying picture. It was horrific, but awesome.

Either Tourettes comment regarding BK's *ahem* length
Or Chickenlady explaining why she has such deep feelings for PJM were my 2 favourite IRL ones.

On here, pretty much everything from here

Oh, I didn't know that one
Good, I have something to read tomorrow.

"So are your limp wrists not a massive hindrance when you're playing your bass?"
Lampito, pers. comm., Montstock II (2010)

Everyone within earshot pissed themselves with laughter and any reputation I might have had was completely ruined in an instant. A moment of true comic genius.

Edit: Also, I'd like to offer this little gem from Bearded Whumpus, the feller who got me into this site in the first place.

It was fucking funny.

I joined b3ta after reading an amazing story
about someone who had found a dead badger on the road, taken it home, cooked it and eat it. And then he got terribly sick for weeks.

I don't remember his name, but it was a very good story.

i found B3TA
after finding it linked from a page about underpant toast. This was many many years ago.

I found OT because I was melancholy for the good old days of 4rthur

I found b3ta due to the sickjokes challenge, even though it had been months earlier
Then just stayed.

A pal recommended B3ta to me.
I lurked for ages but got an account over 6 fucking years ago. This site has almost singlehandedly retarded my career prospects.

Thanks a fucking lot.

6 years, 6 months and 6 days today

I found b3ta
after making a blog before blogs were popular, when I was abit a nipper midway through high-school, and I wanted to steal funny pictures.

In the end that "blog" died but I've kept coming back. At first for /qotw when I was extremely bored at work, working from home but now I'm mostly a /offtopic chap through the week, withn a sprinkling of /qotw, /links and /board.

/talk unless you pay attention for long enough is generally nonsense..

The infamous Chart Cat post made me spit coffee
As does anything by Pooflake.

IRW, special bonus hilarity points go to Tourettes, chickenlady (not that I'm at all biased) and Beekers.

Your missus does have an excellent writing style.
When she's on form, her dry sense of humour is brilliant.

'When she's on form'
Sadly, too bloody true :(

No form at all for months and months. I've only been berating myself just today about not writing enough recently.

'Jeremy The Annoying Horse' I think is spectacular.

(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 17:13, Reply)
it really is
I think it was getting images like that emailed to me that first drew b3ta to my attention, and then I started reading QOTW.

I adore those
Is he still doing them?

Everything Glued Eel says is gold and you're a wrong if you don't agree.

i think the first thing that drew me here
was somebody's death. (though I may be wrong).

I think the guy was a climber, and died in the mountains, and someone mentioned it on here - the BBC or something or other mentioned the site in their report.

Crowsephine's BUMDER ALERTS
do have me shaking with mirth, I must admit. I think it's just the increasing ludicrousness that gets me.

I'm almost glad I can't get on b3ta at work anymore so I don't have to explain myself to bemused colleagues.

IRL; Legless has had me in uncontrollable fits more times than I care to remember. Ditto wookiee, the dry bastard.
