I know.
Every single time I go out or buy alcohol at the supermarket I get asked for ID. :(

you'll be happy
when that happens in the future. I'm twenty one and it makes me feel slightly irritated, yet slightly happy when it happens

Somebody thought I was 26 a few weeks ago.
Being almost 40, that made me quite happy.

my dad
(just over fifty) got IDd for a bottle of wine in Tescos a couple of years back. I've never seen someone look so confused

My parents got ID'd in the states
They both have grey hair, and look their age (and hopefully dont read b3ta). When they questioned it, the shopkeeper said they weren't allowed to discriminate based on age and so had to ID everyone 0.o

Christ...
I knew I was getting old when I turned 30 and they stopped IDing me whenever I went to bars in the States. Leaving my passport in the hotel when going out for a drink was an odd experience.

my dad looks young
about mid/late thirties, but certainly not young enough to be IDd. Questioned the checkout girl, and she said he was 'within the range'

here it's just "if you look under 26, we will ask you for ID".
unfortunately, I have one of those faces where if I don't wear makeup, I look about 2 years younger then I actually am.
