I have just had to shell out for new tires, new break pads, new break discs all because the suspension was shot. That also needed replacing.
What gave you a walletectomy recently ?

it was like the world was ending when it was hitting, what? 80p a litre or something. I actually went "that's cheap" when I saw one at £1.12 :/

It was very touch and go whether most of the guests managed to make it. Fortunately they did, otherwise it would have been a fucking minimalist ceremony.

But I found a t-shirt today I'd given up buying a while back cos it was sold out everywhere. That's sixty quid I can't afford gone.

Don't get me wrong it's not worth sixty quid and I don't spend that on t-shirts ever (only once before, normally stick to thirty odd) but I want it well bad.

some of my t-shirts are 10 years old, the rest are mostly from tescos. I have no style

may be (to use technical language) fooked. It's pissing oil everywhere which even I know, in my almost entire ignorance of cars and what makes them work, is Not Good. Right before I go on holiday as well. *weeps*

Leaking sump plug (£4 part, five minutes to fix), or a leaky rocker gasket, which are slightly more expensive but not bank-breakingly so.
If it's leaking from the top of the engine under the bonnet, it's the rocker. From the very bottom underneath, it's the sump plug.
Could be something else, but in my experience it's usually one of these two. Pissing oil generally isn't costly, it's when it starts burning it you want to worry.

Just got back from the hairdressers. It was *a lot* of money.
I only have it done a couple of times a year and my ex has (finally) given me some money - not much but enough to cover the hair.

2 weeks out of work stunts the cashflow as well. Next up.. a holiday to somewhere warm - hopefully just after the school season..

We hijack your potential new-goalkeeper signing, David James and then get dicked 3-0 by Millwall.
That's value for money.
Still, my season ticket was only £420
(, Tue 10 Aug 2010, 20:06, Reply)
Pretty embarrassing considering they were the guys who finished 3rd in League 1 last year and you guys finished in the playoffs :D
Still, James will be good for yous, we're still needing a keeper thanks. Apologies to those who hate footy chat..

But no complaints after Saturday, Millwall wanted to win the game more than my lot did.
Fingers crossed they'll sort themselves out this evening, against Southend (currently 1-1).

At Fulham they're only £499. Although I get kids ones for £155. Not that I have one this year. Going Bolton on Saturday on a nine quid kids ticket, I refuse to pay adult prices on principle.
