Last movie you cried at
Now I have never been one to cry during movies. Like to think that I'm tough enough to laugh most stuff off. Never the less, yesterday guess what has me in tears like a big baby?

The end of Marley & Me...

What did you last cry to?

Alt question- does any one else think that ipads are as pointless as I do?

That exact film
It was almost exactly what happened when my dog died.

Mine went aged 18
I'll miss him

You wrote a column about your dog then it died?

I never used to cry at films (except Watership Down)
since having my heart stomped on (a little melodrama, there), odd things set me off, embarrassingly including Inception

Probably
the end of The Iron Giant.

I also shouted at the telly during Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which surprised me.

No interest in the iPad, I'm still not convinced about the iPhone, even as a Mac user I don't see them as must-have gadgets.

oh! Yeah, Ipads are pointless
but better - there are flats that are being built round here (and have been for ages) which they've been calling Ipads. Shittest name for a flat ever

I saw Marley and Me on a plane
And was in tears (of laughter) when the daft dog died. What the flying fuck did you expect to happen?
(, Mon 16 Aug 2010, 22:56, Reply)
I bet you had to be sedated to prevent you from crying out every last drop of bodily fluid.

I knew what was coming with the twatting Notebook
It was total shit, but I allowed myself to be manipulated all the same
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 8:24, Reply)
I cry at films all the time
I think the bastarding shitting Notebook was the last one that made me cry, despite myself.

My girlfriend
reads that book at least once a week. When she moves in, I got a feeling I'm going to have to watch the movie.

I cry every time I watch "The Champ"
It's one of my all time favorite movies.

I may be getting an iPad soon through work so will answer that if and when it happens.

I'm a man.
Men don't cry. We just stand outside in the rain looking stoney faced.
The last film I stood outside in the rain looking stoney faced after was Conspiracy.
Poor Eichmann.
:(

Ken and Stan are both great actors though.

Damn you
I was going to say 'at the end of Downfall, I couldn't believe it when the hero didn't get away'. But I can't now.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 8:38, Reply)
Heheheh.
:D
Brigadefuhrer Mohnke did get away though.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 8:57, Reply)
People say he Mohnkes around.

I hate you for making me laugh with this

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:28, Reply)

I have the occasional snivel
at films, but I'm not really in to weepy shit - books, films or otherwise. I think the most stupid thing I cried at was when Buffy chucked herself in to the Hellmouth at the end of season five. I wanted to punch myself in my 14 year old face - I've rarely felt so stupid in my life.

I cried at the end of Finding Nemo.
I cried, wanked and screamed the Lord's Prayer.

The cunts threw me out. Something about "upsetting the kids".
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 8:50, Reply)
I think it was Gran Torino for me, but I'm not sure
Alt Q: Yes

embarrasingly enough, the tom hanksvehicle 'cast away'
i think i was a bit pissed at the time though - it's the bit where he finds his wife has married again
not where he loses the ball
