Same department, new job, with a bit of my old job thrown in.
More responsibility, but less challenging if you ask me.
MUCH less B3ta-ing, I suspect.
A change is as good as a lottery win, so they say.
What's changing for you?
Alt q: who the FUCK are you looking at?

Also I'm putting a deposit down on a flat at some point today.
And I may have to sue someone for the first time in my life.

Well I think it's maximum but the stuff I've read say that I should just apply for the maximum.

however, did you say the reason you were kicked out is because the guy is insolvent?
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:24, Reply)
but the house was worth more than the mortgage so he'll get a cash sum.

The letting agent is also breaching its protocols there so if it's a member of the Estate Agency Association or whatever, you could write a formal complaint about them whatever ombudsman type person they have, get them a black mark and/or struck off.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:30, Reply)
If the agent was a member of either of these two fine orgs. He was supposed to keep the deposit, not Landlord twunt.

Alt Q: You, ya ming/mong/meff gone wrong

could do with finding a more stimulating job really, but one that pays the same. Ain't gonna happen.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:15, Reply)
That was just spreadsheets spreadsheets spreadsheets.
I hated it. This will be an assistant manager type thing and I will also be doing lots of interesting things like schools liaisons.
I don't want to be here, morale is low, one woman is pissed off I got the job over her, but I'm still liking the sound of it better than what I've been doing the last 18 months.

I was chatting with the mrs last night about stuff, and figured my motivation is really low at the moment because none of the work I'm doing is really being used for anything. It's all studies that get done and stuck on a shelf, pretty much.
Would rather be doing something that actually led to something.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:23, Reply)
it's motivation to do most of the work tasks I have that is the trouble.
*not just fun things either. DIY and stuff, which is a pain in the arse
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:27, Reply)
so when it's finally dooby time I can just collapse into a messy stoned ball of vagueness
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:33, Reply)
I'll just have a spliff at about 10pm to unwind while I read before going to bed, otherwise I find it very hard to sleep.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:35, Reply)
finish work at 4.30, go to gym for 45 minutes, come home, shower, get stoned. It works for me.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:37, Reply)
I'll get home from work at half 5 to 6, cook dinner, do DIY, watch stuff or play games, have a spliff, read, go to bed at midnight.

I am kind of dreading moving into my new place for uni in October as it may be the catalyst that turns me into a pot head hermit. My personal trainer has just completed a hypnotherapy course and is going to practice on me.

I need instant gratification and I need to feel like I'm brill at something or I run away.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:26, Reply)
that's why I hate my job, it's just pushing pieces of paper from one end of the office to the other. That's why I like sewing and baking, at the end you've got a physical thing that's beautiful and you can say "I made that".
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:31, Reply)
Looking at you and wondering how anyone could pile shite that high.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:16, Reply)
Bloody nothing. BORED.
I have less responsibility at work and it is indeed less challenging, but I hate my job either way so I don't care. At least this way I can procrastinate on b3ta more effectively and I don't wake up in the middle of the night worrying that I forgot to do something.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:19, Reply)
If they find I did anything wrong during the last project over the next couple of months, I'll just hand in my notice and move in with my nana.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:21, Reply)
or I might not wear any. That's just how I roll.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:19, Reply)
But that will finish by the end of this week. Then I'll be back on here all day whinging about summat.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:23, Reply)
I hope this new job is a kick up the bum so I go back to being Mary Poppins

nothing is changing for me apart from the fact I am supposed to help teach my siblings for a couple of weeks. They're going to hate me by the end
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:29, Reply)
Apart from a (semi) milestone birthday.
And incidentally, I'm looking at my computer screen, darling Roota.

Look I can be unnecessarily personal too.
(, Wed 1 Sep 2010, 9:56, Reply)
Therefore there was nothing unnecesarily personal about what you said.
