Consumer delights
When it comes to buying stuff I am usually the guy who buys something in shop A only to see it 20% cheaper in shop B a little while later. Yesterday however I got lucky. I ordered a new telly from Richer Sounds but when I picked it up and took it home it was the wrong one. They had given me the next model up and it is a hell of a lot swankier.
What brucie bonuses have you picked up unexpectedly?
Alt Q: If they work it out do I have to give it back?

Honestly really pleased. I know it's only a telly but I properly lucked out on this one. And they still do free lolly pops in there.
Went for a beer afterwards in Alibi, I do love Whiteladies Road on a sunny afternoon.

When we were looking for a new cooker
we found a really flashy one that we loved but could nowhere near afford. We opted for a cheaper one that looked sort of like the one we loved only with less features, no LCD and about £600 cheaper. When it arrived, by some fluke we had been sent the flashy one we loved. We didn't say anything presuming that because they looked so alike we could claim ignorance. they never noticed and we love our dual fuel super cooker.

Although taking a bottle of wine out my bag, raising it and saying 'cheers' to the security guard as I walked out probaly didn't help.

See loads of it when I volunteer with the homeless
best one was when coppers turned up at our shelter as a flat nearby had been burgled. Only a toaster & a coat was stolen. I went & had a look and saw one of our "guests" wearing the coat and walking around trying to sell the toaster to other homeless people.
I told the police we didn't know anything about it.

When I went to Cape Verde a couple years back
We were in a huge private all inclusive resort, and the entrance to the local beach was by shanty village type thing. We sat and watched all day as these young African kids, all about seven or eight and in rags, darted past the guards, into one of the buffet places and leg it out again with as many ham and cheese toasties and jugs of strawberry daquiri they could carry. Brilliant.
EDIT - meant for Battered's post, obv.

My wife and I are going to Tunisia in 10 days
and I will be there for my birthday. She did a whip round family and friends for my birthday present and told me we were going to the place where they filmed the Tatooine scenes in Star Wars. This week she told me we were flat broke and spent the money on the airport car park and told me that we couldn't afford the trip. Awesome I thought, there I was thinking my birthday present was going to get to go to see where they filmed Star Wars but instead I get a weeks car parking at Bristol Airport! Hows that for an unexpected bonus!

knob as in door knob is spelt with a 'k'
nob as in the massive, dripping, blathering cock that you are is perfectly acceptable without the k

No, I'm sure you don't have to give it back. You picked it up, right? transaction is complete when you leave the shop. It's in a box so you didn't know it was wrong. Their problem, as far as I'm aware.
Nice work. Perhaps the £xxxxx of vandamme surround speaker cable I'm waiting for from Amazon will also turn out to accidentally be a 50" Panasonic Plasma TV, eh? That'd be nice.

ME ME ME
I want to live in Brockley.
Barry told me it's boss and it's near West Wickham and all.
I have no money, but assure your brother that I'll fill his former home with nice things and lots of love.

I was selling an old bass given to me by an Ex
I expected to make £150 from it (Fender Jazz). Halfway through the auction, someone asked me what the number was. It turned out mine was a fairly rare one, and I ended up getting £360 for it.
Alt Q: Yes, but unscrew the back and shit in it first.
