And I am a drinker. Which is why I went to the fridge to get some cider before posting a reply about Cunty-Hanky

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:28, Reply)
is it bad that I started swigging sidekick

cookies and cream vodka

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:20, Reply)
that sounds vaguely revolting
yet oddly like the basis for a downscale White Russian
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:22, Reply)
flavoured vodka with cream in it - a bit like a boozy milkshake I think.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:20, Reply)
Cunty-Hanky comes first.
Everybody knows it.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:35, Reply)
Yep. I reckon he probably suffers from PE. His posts are an attempt to compensate.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:37, Reply)
yeah I hated PE, too
stupid tracksuit wearing losers making us run around

We could tag team?
I've heard good reports, and I don't want to miss out.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:30, Reply)
That's up to BGB.
I'm willing to share, but only for a little bit.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:35, Reply)
Hell, there's enough of me to go round : )

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:36, Reply)
Woo, norkage!
I shall be sure to tell Crow what he's missing.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:39, Reply)

Wouldn't want them getting bruised or owt.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:40, Reply)
Bollocks to that, I've got about 12 years of celbacy to make up for.

It looks like a relay-race to me

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:07, Reply)
Is it compulsory?
Or can we freely grope BGB? I wouldn't want to walk in and have a fistful of norkage- that would just be too common. A brief "hello". mebbe, followed by tongues and tweaking?
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:34, Reply)
Sympathy please.
I feel like shit on account of dozy colleagues who think they're indispensable at work and come in spreading their fucking germs around instead of doing the sensible thing and taking to their beds for a couple of days in order to get better.

/Alt: can't think of anything.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:21, Reply)
*sympathises*
I've had two colds this term already and at least two of my students were in with colds today. While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I don't appreciate the snot
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:24, Reply)
I'm a bit pissed off about it
as I haven't had any sick time in almost a year, and I'm probably going to have to take tomorrow off as a result, which cocks up my Bradford index score as the last two occurences were a one and two day sick leave period last October and November respectively. The more time off consisting of odd days you have, the worse your score is over a rolling 12 month period, which can result in disciplinary action. Whereas having one two week period of sick lowers your score, even though it's more of a headache productivity wise.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:28, Reply)
oh there was something like that in a shop I worked in
If you had two many periods of sick leave you had to have counseling, but not if you had a few weeks off.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:29, Reply)
It's utter crap.
If I'm starting to feel ill, a couple of days off and in bed usually straightens me out and means I can get back to work and hit deadlines and stuff. If I were to soldier in, I'd make myself worse and end up having up to 2 weeks off, which fucks everyone over, not to mention probably felling them with the same thing too.

Still, the organisation closes in March 2012, so I doubt they're going to sack me over it and I'm still well within the warning limit. I'd haev just liked to get to the 12 month start all over again bit is all.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:33, Reply)
Try Vicks first defence nasel spray.
It works for me.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:25, Reply)
Too late for that :(

Hot toddy! ftw.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:35, Reply)
I have Murphys for my sore throat
and shall switch to red wine after for the anaelgesic properties.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:36, Reply)
It's working already I'm pleased to report.
My throat no longer feels like a dumping ground for Monty's discarded razor blades.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:39, Reply)
that's funny, around here they couldn't give a flying fuck if you've got the plague, you'd better be at work

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:43, Reply)
So many places are like that.
Mine, paradoxically, encourages you to take time off so as not to spread the lurgy about. Then hounds you when you have one or two days off as a result. Contradictory cunts.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:45, Reply)
You have my sympathies.
I have a fucking rotten cold and my head feels like it's about to explode and if I stand up my nose leaks. And I can't take anything for it except paracetamol as I'm breastfeeding.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:22, Reply)
Ugh.
That's shit, at least I can properly dope myself up. Not that it seems to be working, mind. Sofa again for me tonight I think.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:28, Reply)
@Battered
You're right. It is bad form.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:41, Reply)
*agrees*
Funny though.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:43, Reply)
Not as amusing as you destroying a Manchester hotel room with vomit.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:45, Reply)
The last time I was that ill with booze was around 15 years ago.
I swear I drink more wine when I go to DG and Tourettes house but never seem to get so ill. I don't know what happened. I was also ill at my summer bash because I'd been drinking wine the night before.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:48, Reply)
Maybe you are alergic to bashes?

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:49, Reply)
Haha!
I've been to a few more and been ok. I'm sticking to Vodka in London.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:50, Reply)
vodka is good for not being a bad drunk on

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:08, Reply)
I love Vodka : )

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:14, Reply)

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:15, Reply)
My gf is making sloe gin as I type this - she picked the sloes when we were in Vipros's part of the world last weekend.
It should be ready by Christmas apparently.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:18, Reply)
that sounds rather nice
vodka is the only thing I've mutated so far. I keep meaning to do a sherbert one
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:19, Reply)
Refreshers (the fizzy sweets) in vodka is great too.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:21, Reply)
That is sherbet isn't it?

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:34, Reply)
Do they make it turn brown or something?

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:35, Reply)
made chilli vodka about 20 years ago when I was a stupid student. Never again.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:21, Reply)
they have blue chilli schnaps in lidl
50% extra free
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:22, Reply)
that sounds disgusting
and painful. Though on spicy notes, I have the receipe for a ginger one somewhere which is delicious
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:24, Reply)
It was foul. I wonder what cinnamon vodka would be like?

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:25, Reply)
You've triggered horrible memories of Goldschlager and Aftershock
*shudders*
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:28, Reply)
Vile. I had it in Revolution once
it bounced.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:40, Reply)
I prefer my vodka vodka flavoured.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:31, Reply)
will you get sloshed
or are you going to be sensible?
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:33, Reply)
Just a bit squiffy.
I have to travel back the next day.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:45, Reply)
I could do with an evening of snuggling, good food, a bottle of port and some decent telly.... if that helps.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:45, Reply)
The Apprentice is one
I'll get angry with my telly box as a result.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:47, Reply)
I had forgotten that was on - thanks for the reminder.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:50, Reply)
Fuck me, I forgot about that, cheers mate !

Congrats on the job btw
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 19:53, Reply)
Cheers mate =)
Yup, I get SkyHD with the full package + sports + films + ESPN.... all part of the rent ,)
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:03, Reply)
That's a nice little bonus.

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 20:14, Reply)
That is a result. We've also got HD with most things - not ESPN though and we have to pay for it
I am sat on my sofa with 3 of our 4 cats, my laptop, a glass of cider and Masterchef on the TV. I can cope with an evening like this I think.
