STRESS!
After having the total trauma of holding onto my daughter this morning as they put her under for her operation and feeling her fall unconcious, I am stressed to death. What have you been most stressed about lately?

p.s.
She is fine now!

Alt Q:
What didnt you have for lunch? Grrrrr! Same as me, nowt!
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:00, 143 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I don't get stressed
probably because nothing of great importance happens around me.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:03, Reply)
This is good!
Hold onto it while you can
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:05, Reply)
Maybe I will, maybe I won't
*shrugs*

See?

well done!

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:12, Reply)
I get stressed
when I realise I've done no work and have a tutorial in an hour.

Alt Q: I bothered going and getting the sandwich in the end. And a raspberry flapjack. Absolutely ace
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:05, Reply)
Have just had a "cheese sammich"
and a toffee muffin with full fat Coke. *BURP*

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:11, Reply)
I like sammich!
Though I think a "sammich" has to be made at home with cheap white bread and not a bought one, which would obviously be a "sarndwitch".
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:22, Reply)
yeah or pannini if you're well posh.

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:37, Reply)
What was wrong with her?

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:06, Reply)
A problem with her 3rd and 4th toes on both feet.
They had to cut into the flexor tendon to allow the toes to straighten up

My sister was born with slightly deformed legs or something.
I do love telling her she was born a cripple.

My mother in law was told to have an abortion
because her child would almost certainly have downs syndrome. How I love to bring up that my wife is a mong during inappropriate moments.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:58, Reply)
I proper lolled at that
and it made me feel awful.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:58, Reply)
Don't worry I lol all the time
And whenever she goes off on one about me being a bastard I remind her that not many men would see past the downs and marry a spaz.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 15:10, Reply)
Good news there then fella, hope her recovery goes well!
Although it's likely she'll have to wear stupid medical shoes that look like something a geisha would wear, and uncomfortable as hell. Make sure she wears them, they are to stop your foot bleeding too much.

Everything has been stressing me recently, from the move, to arguing with the landlord, to being let down by mates, to getting snapped at by my stepmum, to having a shit time at work.

I'm just looking forward to the new year now, new me, all that shite.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:11, Reply)
Nah, she doesn't have to wear the spaz shoes
Thank fuck!

Usually it's only for a couple of days, but not fun at all!

Milking the visit for all she is worth. Fireman Sam on TV, Haribo and juice! I'm jealous!

Well at least you do exercise, so the cheesecake binging doesn't show
I don't snack, but I often go 24 hours without eating, meaning my body retains all the crap I do eat.

Boredom is worse than stress I reckon - would rather have some level of stress than nothing going on.

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:28, Reply)
I am stressed as my other half has suggested...
...we go spend Xmas with her sister and family. This was 'suggested' in that most feminine method of non-negotiable negotiation that she will class as a joint decision. Admittedly I have avoided this for the last four years so it was somewhat inevitable.
(Her sister reads The Mail, likes Jeremy Clarkson, thinks Love Actually is a modern classic, rambles on about investment plans and feels 'edgy' with a Coldplay CD. Other than that she is just a total and utter shitehawk.)
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:23, Reply)
Get yourself some valium to help get through it.

That is my 'default setting' way of dealing with stress.
The fact that it is Xmas and I want to spend it with my kids means that a stocking full of DMT and Jellies is not the best option.

oh I liked Fable 2 so much!
It was my birthday present a couple of years ago and Wiggy kept playing on it and then he overtook me even though he promised not to so I got annoyed, went on his character and made him eat loads of pie. I also gave him a pink mohawk for extra burning.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 14:44, Reply)
You sayin' a mohawk is punishment? Hmm?
It was alright, just the constant repetition of the townsfolk annoyed me. And I got sexchanged into a very butch woman.
