I'd be inclined to say anyone on benefits
Should be denied.
As harsh as that sounds.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:28, 6 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Including those who earn the carers one, for looking after their family?

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:29, Reply)
Will the family be around after the pandemic?
No, if they need caring for, they'll probably be more susceptible.
It depends if these people had any useful skills when they weren't caring for their families.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:32, Reply)
haha I wrote this above but I put that we were sort of joking

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:47, Reply)
you also wanted non fit people excluded

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:29, Reply)
Did I?

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:30, Reply)
I think that was just a criteria though
i.e. intelligent *or* fit rather than necessarily both. And not on benefits
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:31, Reply)
Yes. You made this exceptionally clear.
Something about repopulating the earth.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:47, Reply)
I'm only going to help repopulate if at least one of four certain people survive.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:54, Reply)
Am I one of the four?
As much as we'd make a great couple, we'd be missing a vital ingredient for earth repopulation.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:58, Reply)
yeah baby
ME
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:59, Reply)
there is no-one on this planet
who I'd repopulate with
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:59, Reply)
I had a dream I was pregnant last night.
It was fucking horrible.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:01, Reply)
pregnant people scare me a bit
and they freak me out when they ask me to touch it. I can't think of a polite way of telling them I'll be sick all over them.

Bottomline: I'm never having children
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:04, Reply)
It's not the belly
although that freaks me out too - it's when the baby kicks that really grosses me out. The first time I ever touched my sisters pregnant belly and got booted I jumped a good six inches and nearly shat myself.
Perhaps I just watched 'Alien' at too young an age.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:15, Reply)
Damn, we're going to have to work out how to make parthenogenesis work
And fast.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:02, Reply)
'Parthenogenesis'
Is what I call my penis.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:03, Reply)
I'm still happy with 'Spam Javelin'
Your penis helps women reproduce asexually? They see it and ran screaming for another alternative?
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:04, Reply)
You missed a trick
"Your penis helps women reproduce asexually? They see it and ran screaming for another alternative?"
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:05, Reply)
No I didn't
*looks shifty*
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:08, Reply)
Well, I'm fucked.

Ah, maybe not too bad then

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:42, Reply)
I'm fine with that.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:31, Reply)
Hey.
To create a master race you have to break a few eggs.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:30, Reply)
ha ha ha,
I like you ab, but you say some really retarded things sometimes.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:30, Reply)
I know, it's one of my best features.
If this comes to pass, I might actually be the one with the vaccine.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:33, Reply)
you won't have anything to do with it's distribution though,
that's up to people like me.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:34, Reply)
Either way, I'll get it.
Lab staff and that.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:35, Reply)
Maybe not if you don't keep your socialogical solutions to yourself.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:36, Reply)
I'm perfect criteria for a mad scientist.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:38, Reply)
You've got the look as well.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:39, Reply)
Yeah, in a few years time I'll look like my profile picture constantly

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:39, Reply)
Yeah, but what a way to look!

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:42, Reply)
A fucking awesome way to look, that's what.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:44, Reply)
I'm sure they will find that hilarious at the dole office

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:45, Reply)
officelol

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:48, Reply)
shit.
You look nice today.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:58, Reply)
Do you mean a blanket denial for all types of benefits or just the daft twats who refuse to work and claim jobseekers etc?

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:31, Reply)
Second one

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:32, Reply)
I agree then.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:34, Reply)
I think I preferred this as a blanket statement.
If we are starting again the infirm/inept must go.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:36, Reply)
My mother in law is on benefits
as she has a bone disease and her spine is crumbling leaving her with a non life threatening but immensely painful condition. I hope the scrounging cow is last on the list to get the vaccine.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:31, Reply)
She would struggle in the post apocalyptic style world, then
as there'd probably be nobody around to help her out or make sure she takes her pain meds. I don't think people were referring to IB or carer's allowance, etc...
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:34, Reply)
Spanish flu killing tens of thousands
is hardly the apocalypse.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:35, Reply)
I just upped the stakes.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:37, Reply)
Worst case for a pan flu
is about 45,000 a week infected for 3 months.
35% of those die.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:38, Reply)
^That's just England

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:39, Reply)
That's only 189,000 people approximately, which is a small percentage of the population

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:50, Reply)
Yeah it's not END TIMES
people wash their hands now and stuff.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:55, Reply)
yeah they do.
*whistles*
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:59, Reply)
It's my game.
If I want it to be END TIMES, it's damn well going to be END TIMES
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:05, Reply)
Meh, she said pandemic
I chose to interpret that in a 'The Stand' style way.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:42, Reply)
Do you mean "The Stand" or Roxy Musics 1973 hit?
Edit - Ha! I saw you Cave Duck you thread deleting coward :D
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 14:47, Reply)
typo - balls

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:05, Reply)
No worries, i'm just being a dick

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:09, Reply)
Ahem. I'm pretty sure that Do The Strand wasn't a hit when it was released as a single. Which it definitely was.
I don't what you thought you heard me say, Colonel.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 15:07, Reply)
