Last night we came up with an idea for a film, I just need someone to write a script, cast the film, scout the locations, purchase/hire the equipment needed, a special effects person and....[etc etc].
It's called "Mellenium Man", and it's about a person who is awake once every 14 days. He only ages during the time he's awake, so at 20 years old for him, in real terms he's about 280 years old. It's about how life has changed through out history, starting off in around the 1500s and finishing around 2500s. He's watched lovers grow old and die, he's seen war and famine, traveled the world, from the [what ever era that was] to the space age to the begining of the collonisation of the moon. He would have died at around the year 2100, but with medical advancements, his lifespan has expanded expedentially. Maybe there is a bit where he keeps on trying to commit suicide after seeing so many people grow old and die, but never makes it.
I'm not entirely sure what happens when he is asleep, like maybe he simply doesn't exist in the awake world, or maybe he's on some sort of auto-pilot? Maybe he's just simply asleep. Maybe there would be medical problems involved, like attrophy for being asleep for so long.

Nothing has changed much here since the 1500s.

He probably dreams of forging friendships, spending weeks on end learning skills like how to use a hammer and programme in assembly. He'd dream about being able to keep track of international politics and the plot of Eastenders, of shagging that bird off Hollyoaks, you know the one, her who's not caked in makeup and looks a bit like she'd fancy a bit of foot action. He'd dream of being able to go camping without having to pre-pay for a pitch for thirteen days.
TGB could play the love interest who travels the world exploring ancient tombs and doing dodgy deals with suspicious-looking Arab men, spending her life searching for an elixir that offers eternal life to the bravest soul with the most capacious love-bucket.

so during the day they build up, and then when he sleeps they reach some critical mass and blink him forward 14 days. He wakes up and has low levels again.
Just an idea for a mechanism. You could do some stuff with him trying to stay awake for ages and when he eventually sleeps he zips ahead a year or something. So he really hates night time.
Edit: You could call it "Fought Night" :)

Although I have a sneaking suspicion the lead will be played by Will Smith.

That was of course before his career really took off, when he had shit pumped out of his anus live on television.
