This is a question Advice from Old People

Sometimes, just sometimes, old people say something worth listening to. Ok, so it's like picking the needle out of a whole haystack of mis-remembered war stories, but those gems should be celebrated.

Tell us something worthwhile an old-type person has told you.

Note, we're leaving the definition of old up to you, you smooth-skinned youngsters.

quite pleased
not even in the same room as the topic but i'm quite pleased

some of you may know by now mrs spimf and i have a delightful little boy - hes two now and pretty damn cool, but we did have to get very clever people in white coats with very important looking glasses to make him in a little tube for us 'cos were a bit rubbish

tony blair paid for that

mrs spimf is now so bloody decrepit gordon brown was not prepared to pay for another go - so i had to fork out 5 grand this time in a posh private hospital (prettier nurses and decent porn in the wank room)

good news is we got three fertilised embryos and they go back into the mothership on monday

my thinking is if you all cross your fingers for us we might get 1 to stick

Fingers and toes crossed.

Wow...
Good luck with all that.

I don't particularly want children, so you're welcome to mine if you like?

best of luck
The missus and I have just had the aforementioned treatment 2 1/2 weeks ago, and so far looks like it's worked, what with 2 lines on the pee stick and everything.

Best of luck with yours, will keep mine crossed.

P.S. I had to make do with a badly scuffed copy of Escort for my contribution to the whole process in the "Relaxation Room", was slightly disappointed that the nurses weren't willing to lend a hand.

cheers folks
i'll keep you posted

@jdxnster... if you go private it all seems fine at first - there are indeed two kelly brooke lookalikes on hand in the 'relaxation room' but it's clearly a con - i seriously doubted their nursing qualifications and their uniforms were at least two sizes too small

pfft!

right
good news so far.

Mrs Spimf produced three 'grade A' embryos. Initially the plan was to re-impmant all three but they were such good quality the mimsy doctor was worried she may well have triplets.

so we froze one

have to wait two weeks now to see if they have stuck
