This is a question Devastating Put-Downs

Amorous Badger says: I once saw a former manager of mine being asked to 'sit down and let your mouth have a chance to speak' by his senior. What's the best heckle/putdown/riposte you've ever seen? (Hint: Recycled 'Your mum' jokes does not make an answer)

Can't really say it was a put down but a quick response.
Dirty Charvers: Here mahhhhnn is that Stihl gear on the trailer leykk?

Me: It hasn't went very fucking far has it?

Thats how the charver would say it with their slow elongated words.

Usually,
I manage to work out the point of most QOTW answers. I may not find them all funny, but I see the point being made.

Nope, not this time.

I have an advanced degree in spasticspeak and may be able to clarify:

Dirty Charvers: Here mahhhhnn is that Stihl gear on the trailer leykk?
Person who I hold in low regard: Hello my dear fellow. If I may enquire, is that Stihl equipment on the back of the vehicle?

explanatory note: The German company Stihl, 'pronounced still', is famous for their chainsaws and other power equipment

Me: It hasn't went very fucking far has it?
Me: Yes, sir, you may enquire. As you can observe, the equipment had indeed not moved and is therefore still there. How punny.

Bravo, sir,
Although, I dread to think how you might have acquired this skill.

Well done Mr UzzardC4H5As,
A++ for you.

I believe sir, you may have miscomprehended in a small measure
the final point of the amusing story.

I have the notion that the word 'still', rather than being in reference to whether or not the articles remain within the trailer, is in fact alluding to the fact they are motionless.

It would appear so to me, at any rate.
