morning everyone.
what's your saturday got in store for you?

I might make...wait for it...PASTA!

Christ, the exciting life I lead.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:45, archived)
is it really saturday?
feels like a thursday.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:46, archived)
A pub crawl.
Which I'm somewhat in two minds about. They're not normally my sort of thing, but it might be nice.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:46, archived)
I haven't been to a pub in ages
a ton of people loved pubbing last year, and they are all up for stupidly expensive clubs this year.
I haven't seen people go to proper old pubs yet :(
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:48, archived)
In that case,
I have a wonderful opportunity for you.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:49, archived)
Sorry,
that was originally the wrong link. It is now edited.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:00, archived)
*pokes*
The City's full of pubs ;)
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:50, archived)
Any which would be suitable for
something like this?
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:52, archived)
The Porterhouse is always a favourite
Although it can be a bit expensive.
I'm presuming you're looking for places in the centre; Soho/Covent Garden/etc?
I also very much like the Red Lion on Kingly Street.
And, frankly, there's not much wrong with the Shakespeare's Head on Kingsway, although it's a Wetherspork.

If you're looking at places in the City, I'd recommend the Globe on Moorgate: nice pub, good pool tables and sofas upstairs.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:55, archived)
Thank you,
I will look these up.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:56, archived)
Clubs are often full of cocks.

I spent my entire higher educational time
working in various nightclubs and I'd be happy never to go in another one.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:01, archived)
Go for it
there's a good chance you'll meet some people you'll like.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:48, archived)
I will be going.
My very first Otley run, as I've somehow managed to miss all the ones up until now.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:51, archived)

That map is missing a 'Here be dragons' sign.

(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:02, archived)
indeed
I have edited it, I don't know the postcode of the pub as they don't have a webshite. It's now actually pointing to somewhere near.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:06, archived)
I have to type up an experiment for Monday

now it really would be handy if they'd written that song about the molecelar spectroscopy of iodine instead...

Sexings, check.
Foods, check.
Sitting in front of the TV watching athletics like a middle-aged slob, check.
Working, sadly: check.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:49, archived)
my breakfast was
several rich tea fingers and a cup of tea. That was it.

Can I have your foods?
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:51, archived)
I bought a 5-pack of cookies
AND THERE WAS AN EXTRA ONE! This is the most exciting thing to happen all day.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:49, archived)
I read that as 'condoms'
I don't know why.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:56, archived)
I've been to halfords and bought bulbs for my car
I shall put them in at some point, followed by some sleep later tonight.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:49, archived)
sounds like a RIPPING afternoon, sir.

I'm looking after the lads while Catfish Jnr has gone for a trip out with her grandparents.
Mrs C has got instructions to return home from work with PIE. Good pie.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:49, archived)
I approve thoroughly of the presence of Pie in these plans.
That is, presuming that you issued the Pie Instructions in a bleary early-morning mutter to Mrs C as she departed, in a Weeblesque "when come back bring pie" burble?
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:52, archived)
Unfortunately not.
It was a hasty text message saying "Dinner: Pie. A good one. No internal organs. xxBxx"
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:55, archived)
xxBxx.
aaahhhh.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:02, archived)
If I signed off with "xxJCxx" she'd get a bit worried.
:)
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:06, archived)
pie is good
I think I have a FISH PIE in the freezer. I'll stick that in now actually. Mmm.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:54, archived)
Fish = good

But I'm in the mood for chicken or steak pie. Wi' grehveh.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:56, archived)
well I have stopped being ill
so that is good, still feel like a bit of a wreck though. This is not helped by having to say goodbye to some of my regulars.
I am at work and will be here until 5, I will then go home and we have having friends roun who "want to ask us a question".
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 14:50, archived)
Work is no fun
unless you're a professional ice cream tester.

I think the question is "do you like swinging?"
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:00, archived)
pffft
I think that might be more preferable.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2007, 15:09, archived)
