Family Guy or The Simpsons?
If you're not interested in that, tell me how shit I am.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:01, archived)
You can do both if you want.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:02, archived)
Family Guy
The Simpsons has gone on for TOO LONG now!
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:02, archived)
Too long for what?

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:03, archived)
It's just getting old.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:04, archived)
OMG! Things in "getting old due to the passing of time" SHOCK!
Whilst you can still get Homer Simpson socks in Asda, they will carry on making it
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:05, archived)
Hurhur
Milknosugar is old.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:06, archived)
Everyone is old. Relatively speaking.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:06, archived)
We all wear masks.
Metaphorically speaking.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:09, archived)
hehe
love that film
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:18, archived)
me
too!
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:21, archived)
Sorry kid, the dog went rabid. Had to put him down.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:23, archived)
P-A-R-T
Y? Cause i gotta!
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:27, archived)
she is soooo coy

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:49, archived)
must...
buy/download

cannot resist
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:27, archived)
I can assure you that defense will not stand up in court.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:10, archived)
That's true
But since when are you prosecuted for being old?
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:11, archived)
Do you not understand the joke?

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:12, archived)
Unfortunately, I did the second that I posted that reply.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:12, archived)
She's getting on a bit these days...

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:41, archived)
It depends on how close the relative was.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:11, archived)
But relatively speaking, I am less old than you
Oldster.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:10, archived)
Congratulations. What do you win?

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:12, archived)
The next three days at a desk
:(
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:13, archived)
That's exactly what I meant.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:06, archived)
Both.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:02, archived)
Simpsons for me.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:02, archived)
I still watch both.
Prefer Family Guy though. The Simpsons just seems to have lost its edge.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:04, archived)
/\ This. Family Guy still has the ability to shock a bit,
Simpsons has lost that but it's still better than most stuff on TV. I also like Futurama.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:06, archived)
I prefer Futurama to The Simpsons.
I can't wait for the new episodes.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:07, archived)
This

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:10, archived)
The main difference between the two is that one is on at teatime / early evening and watched by kids and adults together
and the other is on at 10pm and watched by adults. That allows the material to a bit more edgy, but is traded off against lower ratings.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:09, archived)
I think it should've ended with the film.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:09, archived)
I agree with this.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:11, archived)
I honestly thought it would.
Send it out with a bang.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:14, archived)
I've only ever seen a couple of Family Guy episodes
They were OK. I enjoy The Simpsons, but wouldn't set the video recorder for them or anything.

This is a dull answer.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:05, archived)
Let's make this interesting.
What WOULD you set the vhs recorder for?
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:06, archived)
Galaxy High.
Or Sharky And George.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:08, archived)
The crimebusters of the sea?

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:09, archived)
The very same.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:09, archived)
Ha! I have a dull answer for that too:
No one, because I no longer have a VHS recorder.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:09, archived)
You're really trying my patience here.
Do you have Sky+?
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:11, archived)
oh, this should be good
*eats popcorn*
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:11, archived)
Alas, I do not

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:12, archived)
What was that shit thing that was out before Sky+? Tivo or something?
Do you have Tivo? If it is called that. I think it recorded TV.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:13, archived)
I thought that was American.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:15, archived)
I'm just clutching at straws here, Jack.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:15, archived)
She's starting to anger me as well, mind

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:16, archived)
I think I give up to be honest.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:19, archived)
We've got a Sony hard disc recorder and DVD burner
I've never been able to work it out :(
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:19, archived)
I've got the Samsung equivalent of that.
Can't even set the time.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:21, archived)
I've had numerous attempts at trying to work it out
I've re-read the manual and rewired the pile of cables at the back but all I
can record is a blank screen. I'm disappointed in myself because it ought to
be a really useful bit of kit.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:23, archived)
I'm sorry
:(
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:20, archived)
DON'T APOLOGISE TO HIM!!!!!!!!

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:20, archived)
Caps and multiple exclamation marks?
Oh dear. I have irked you. First with my determined dullness, then my misdirected apology.

It is unforgivable.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:25, archived)
I just wanted to know what you'd possibly record if you had use of a VHS recorder/Sky+/Tivo.
:(
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:26, archived)
*consoling pats*

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:28, archived)
You've let me down, you've let b3ta down,
but most of all you've let yourself down.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:27, archived)
I can't talk to you
It angers that lovechild person and I can't stand the guilt.

I hope you understand.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:35, archived)
He's an angry man.
But he means well.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:40, archived)
Imagine if you did.
But your only allowed TV shows from the time of VHS.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:12, archived)
Hmm, mid 1970s until about 2000
Don't know. The Hitchhiker's Guide TV series? I enjoyed that.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:20, archived)
Good choice.
I watched the movie and didn't think much of it.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:22, archived)
Too much of a love story
Not enough about towels.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:27, archived)
American Dad manages to be vaguely amusing at least once a season
usually
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:10, archived)
Family Guy still makes me laugh.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:10, archived)
I really hope they cancel Futurama again

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:13, archived)
South Park
There I said it.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:10, archived)
South Park is ace.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:11, archived)
*high fives*

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:16, archived)
South Park is the tits.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:12, archived)
*fist touch*

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:18, archived)
The Simpsons
Watching Peter Griffin fall over and go "Ooooooh...ahhhh....ooooh....aaah....ooooh....ahhhh" for 2 minutes is not funny.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:15, archived)
family guy
but thats starting to dry out now too.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:16, archived)
cartoons
get a life
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:17, archived)
Family Guy.
American Dad is better though, in my opinion.

'In my opinion', remember that bit.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:18, archived)
I do enjoy a bit of American Dad.

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:20, archived)
Family Guy
Although both have outstayed their welcome.
(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:20, archived)
the simpsons stopped being funny about 10 years ago and family guy is much too focused on injokes and fanservice

(, Tue 7 Jul 2009, 0:29, archived)
