Hello internet.
I'm totally doing my randomburn at the moment. It's pretty great, although I may have to sub at least one track so far. And it ISN'T The Look by Roxette.
I'm off to a gig tonight. What was the last gig you went to? My last one was Elbow. My next is the Pigeon Detectives.

I've not been to a gig since the Bluetones last December.
That was great. They're splitting up now, so I'm glad I got to see them while they were still going.
My next gig is Playfest at the end of May. I'm VERY excited.
I'm not doing randomburn though because I'm a forgetful cunt and I hate being a disappointment.

I've been here for a good few years now, since this random burn thing started.
Loads of people talk about making a playlist and stuff, and loads of people talk about picking random songs from all their songs. I always presumed the 'random' bit was who you give it too.

It's a bit of both Gonz.
It's the first 18 songs that come up on your music player and then whoever organises it gives you the addresses of five b3tans.

Come up on your music player when though? Like, first 18 songs that come up when you first open it? My one keeps a history so it'll be the last album/playlist/artist/whatever I listened too.
Most people I know spend days picking'n'choosing the right songs.

What do you two mean 'keeps picking....' ? If you can keep on re-doing it then it's pointless it being random.

So basicly, you keep on clicking 'shuffle' until the first 18 songs are the ones you would have chosen if you didn't have it on shuffle?
Am I the only one here who thinks that is a long-winded way to go about making a CD?

I'll be honest, I just put songs I like on a cd and send them out.
Don't tell the others though.

I try to do it randomly but my shuffle button has a habit of not working properly and just plays the next song which is usually the same artist and album.
Also I've got the Harry Potter audio books on my laptop and it keeps throwing up chapters from that.

My best year for gigs was 2009.
I went to about 15. Last year was a bit crap for them, I only saw Kiss. This year so far it's been Chas n Dave and Elbow. Missed the GLC but the FLC are playing in July. YAY.
