Sadly these days we're well into the epoch that archaeologists would call "Post-Classical b3ta."
Compare it to, say, the Hellenic phase of ancient Greece or the Toltec civilization in a Mesoamerican context, except with a lot more insults and beakering and no actual achievement as such.
