# HALT!
marmite and eggs?

actually - do you offer marmite at Chez Ghost? what do the forrins think of it?
(, Wed 25 May 2011, 11:25, archived)
# Yup.
On the toast:)
Also a fantastic stock for spag bol!
EDIT: Although I have to say the weirdest and best I've found is very finely chopped chicken livers with the mince. Tastes fantastic and you get it piss off people who don't eat offal when you tell them as they love it too.
(, Wed 25 May 2011, 11:26, archived)
# oooh - good call sir
good call indeed!

*edit* *bokes over chicken liver comment*

(, Wed 25 May 2011, 11:27, archived)
# They are highly nom.
You should reconsider your strategy, sir.

# hmm - I'm the kind of person who picks out the kidney from steak and kidney pie
(, Wed 25 May 2011, 11:31, archived)
# Kidneys are vile, and you're right to do that (I do too)
However, Chicken livers are top grade stuff, and worthy of your attention.
(, Wed 25 May 2011, 11:33, archived)
# hmm - OK....
I'll take that into consideration and get back to you....

*puts on hold*

Beardedwife loves haggis but hates faggots. My mind cannot comprehend that.
(, Wed 25 May 2011, 11:38, archived)
# Faggots are ace.
Not especially keen on Haggis, though. Kidneys are a texture thing for me...
*shivers*
(, Wed 25 May 2011, 11:37, archived)
# Perhaps you haven't had a decent haggis
there's a lot of shit haggis around that's not very tasty.

Faggots are good.

# oooh - Polar Opposite
It's a Texture thing with both Kidneys and Liver for me

My Mum used to make us Liver and Onions for tea, and I hated the dryness and bitter taste

I used to eat it though - well you did in those days

I could see my daughter in floods of tears and on hunger strike if I put that in front of her

My father used to eat that crap. Then again, he used to eat beef dripping sandwiches, so no great shock there, then.
