Howl's Moving Castle - better than I thought it would be for a kids book.

It's a great book but don't read "Castle in the Air", it's poo
"House of Many Ways" is OK.
Go through the rest of Diana Wynne Jones, she wrote some excellent stuff (and some other stuff that would be excellent but is let down by a rushed ending). "Time of the Ghost" is well worth reading, and "Power of Three", and the Dalemark series, too. (And her "Rough Guide to Fantasyland" is excellent if you've ever slogged through low-quality fantasy shit.)
Fuck it, all of it's worth reading.
