"Pacific Rim" sounds like something one would get from an Hawaiian rent boy.

Don't you mean a "Joachimalickacacka"
Seriously, though, when I saw the Perlman trailer I was ready to throw my money at the ticket seller, then I found out about the big robot 'splosion fest the film will turn out to be.

Well
The tag line on a early 90's asian AV may or may not have been "Pacific Rim Me."

haha
saw this film on Friday - it was absolutely awful, which is very disappointing as I love GDT movies.

I loved
Max's Magnificent Sunday Droppings, but I thought the sequel sucked.

Beethoven's Turd was a big letdown.
The opening sequence (11 mins of close-up excretion) was, frankly, dubious.

I saw it Friday as well.
I think this movie is in the class of "It is SUPPOSED to be awful, so never mind the plot holes!"

Pfft
Threadjack: any one else watching the box car racing on Dave? Makes you proud to be British (and therefore completely mental).

The major fault with freesat is that it omits Dave. The ultimate channel.
It does however have Horror. Tenebrae last night (Dario Argento) was silly and enjoyable.

I thought Dave was universal
But the racing is superb, everyone taking it so seriously. CAD, wind tunnels.... then the wheels fall off anyway. Not laughed so much in ages.

You might enjoy this, then, Sundae. It was on a 10 minute "ITV World of Sport" filler yesterday. Caravan racing!

I have seen that
They used to do that at my local track. I raced there once just in a DD. I didn't win.
