Kind soul, good with image manipulation needed.
Hi
I'm putting together a DVD box set for my sons 21st birthday - a film for each year since he was born ('94 - 2015)which is actually 22 DVDs. Anyway the box set needs a name and a logo for the box lid and a booklet I'm making to explain the film choices, so was wondering if someone with skills can knock me up an image of the 20th Century Fox logo which says '21st Birthday Box' instead. I'm amazed this doesn't already exist on the net but Google says no. A lifetime of gratitude and a peek at my kitten to the person who comes up with the goods. Thankyou.

I would help you out, but offering a peek at your kitten sounds like the sort of thing a nonce would say.

Also, a peek at your profile shows that you haven't joined in a great deal since signing up.

Again, fair comment
I'm more of a lurker than a giver but only down to the fact that I'm not as witty or creative as most on here so don't bother. I love the place as much as anyone else though but understand if I've not earnt the cheeky freebie I'm asking for.

it really pays to keep a consistent global light in your layer effects, the end result will look far more polished

some of the default layer styles are pretty cool, you can jazz them up even more by adding a bevel and maybe an outer glow
experiment and find your own perfect combination, the trick is knowing when to stop, it is very easy to make something look 'too' finished

Thank you
Outer glow sounds a little advanced to be honest. I may start experimenting with stroke. Pedro said he will lend a helping hand bless him

At least some of you are making the effort to keep the board ticking over, if I don't like it I can always go someplace else

In a way, that's actually quite sweet.
I hear the mad Australian is very popular with 20-somethings.

Thanks
A nice offer, but tomorrow will probably be the day that I fix the 10 year old that won't boot because it can't see the keyboard and won't boot from the CD or any of the 6 operating systems because I can't change the boot options. I will precede with a ps2 keyboard adapter. I should point out that the case is a lot older, going by case age it is about 15.
(and the DVD that's ancient too)
If I can't, I might take you up. If I can't fix it then I will need a real expert but I think the motherboard might need a reset so it boots as it is supposed to, rather than how I set it to prevent intrusion

I fix computers for a school system for a living
Actually I am a teacher, but when it all goes tits up, they call me. Strange but true.
I am thinking of repurposing the box as a Myth TV backend, a security drone controller and a mail server
